How to take care of Juniper Bonsai trees in Colorado -
- Light - The Bonsai likes bright, filtered light. It tends to prefer a few hours of good sun per day, but not scorch in a window that gets bright light all day long.
- Watering - The bonsai likes a soak approx once a week or so, depending on your space's humidity. You're going to want to touch the soil, and see if it's damp. The container has drainage, and you'll want to top water 2-3 times as the water soaks the soil. It will run through the drainage in the container. Then let it drain, and don't water again until it's mostly dry (though not desiccated).
- Pruning, dried leaves, etc- You can gently prune the Bonsai to shape it. It is not recommended to prune it until it's been in your space in one place for at least 3 months. They like to be settled and established before you prune them. We recommend THESE Bonsai pruning shears for sharp, accurate snips with this bonsai as well as other plants! We also LOVE these pruning tweezers for accurate picking out of the sharper juniper bits that you'll need to remove over time. Your Bonsai may potentially lose leaves when it first arrives, don't be concerned about it! It will grow new growth once it is happy and safe.

Sturdy, Affordable and Easy To Set Up

This was so easy to set up and is super sturdy! It has transformed my bedroom! I was able to stack multiple storage containers under the bed, add an extra long bed skirt and walaa! My favorite part is that my mattress is no longer sinking in spots where the boxsprings were faulty. My 13 yr old and 16 yr old had this set up for me in under 30 minutes. My husband is 6'3" and 180 lbs. I was hesitant thinking we would break the bed within a week but it has upheld!!!

Mixed feelings so far

**TWO MONTH UPDATE: overall I still like the bed frame. I appreciate the ample amount of storage underneath the frame, to put stuff underneath when company comes and you need to stash stuff out of sight.
The frame does wiggle a lot with any extra activity, but that's kind of expected with a foldable frame I suppose.
*INITIAL REVIEW: I will update this review in a few months, after several rounds of overnight visitors have used this queen size frame and a 6" foldable foam mattress. I think this will be a good purchase and offer a better night's rest than the air mattress I was previously using for company.
PROS:
- very simple setup and take down
- easy to store away, not bulky
- nice height off the ground to help my guests feel comfortable and easily get in and out of the bed
- appears to be a sturdy frame made (I will update after a few months of use)
- fast, free shipping
CONS:
- arrived with scuffs on the frame
- a lot of the metal mattress supports are not straight, indicating poor craftsmanship, but time will tell
- made in China
- scoots across wood floor easily, so if you're planning to use on hardwood floors you may want to add those rubber pads to the bottom of the legs to prevent it from sliding when you get in and out of the bed
- the two bolts that connect the two frames together (queen size frame) might get lost, it would be cool if they were attached somehow, but for now I'm just keeping them bolted to one frame while in storage.

We’ve had it for about a year now. It’s very tall, supports the mattress well, and is good quality for the price. It’s easy to put together and survived our first move great. There’s not a lot of squeak with movement. Overall good purchase with good delivery and easy to put together.

It’s worth it, surprisingly

Legitimately surprised at the size and quality. I got the full size 18” height and was worried it’d be wobbly and creaky, but it’s surprisingly stable. And for $100 in this economy? Worth. There’s no noise at all, and it’s solid. Took less than 2 minutes to assemble, truly a couple clicks and 2 hand screws. The full came in 2 pieces so the compact size together is about the size of a suitcase and very flat, we could almost take this camping it’s so handy. I don’t often write reviews but I was shocked. (This is a real human)

Highly recommend

This is a great bed frame. We have bought 3 now. It is super easy to set up. Unfold and screw two large bolts to connect the two sides. No tools needed. We first bought one for grown our son to go with the 10 inch foam mattress. We thought it would be easier to manage if he were to move. Then we bought one for our foam mattress when the box springs was wearing out. Amazing ! It fit perfectly in inside our queen size bed frame with a headboard and footboard. Love it. We also bought one as stand alone frame for the guestbed foam mattress. We're happy campers! These are strong, inexpensive and much easier to move than a platform bed or box springs.
