    Key Features

    • Tropical beauty even in cool climates. The Basjoo banana tree grows in zones 5 to 11.
    • Gorgeous, long, green leaves grow up to 4 feet long giving this tree a really exotic look!
    • This stunning banana tree is perfect for creating a tropical getaway. Add a few by your pool and you will only need to walk outside to be on vacation!
    • Great for containers. Just choose a pot that drains well and a good potting medium to avoid root rot.
    • Low maintenance. Keeping your Basjoo banana tree happy isn't hard. Just water it and feed it and you'll be rewarded with a fast growing tropical beauty!

Pro Tip: Winterization is ideal for zones 5 and 6. Simply trim your Basjoo off at the ground after the first frost and mulch well to protect the roots.

    How To Care

Basjoo Bananas prefer moist, well-draining soil. Water deeply when the soil begins to dry out. Bananas thrive in full sun, but can tolerate part sun as well. Add our balanced, slow release fertilizer when planting, in early spring, and late summer for best results. When grown in containers, fertilize up to 4 times per year.

In climates where the foliage gets cold damaged, simply prune back the dead foliage to allow new growth to emerge. Mulching this plant in will help the soil retain moisture and protect the plant in winter. Zones 5 and 6 may find it best to prune this tree back all the way to the ground after the first frost and mulch heavily (about 6 inches) to protect the roots.

Basjoo Bananas are hardy in zones 5-11. Cooler climates can plant in containers and move them inside in the winter to enjoy them year after year.

    Banana plants are deer resistant.

    Landscape Ideas

The Basjoo Banana tree adds a tropical look and stunning contrast to traditional plants. Banana plants look beautiful around pools and patios. Plant in groups of 3 or 5 to create a tropical paradise. This exotic plant looks fantastic in containers and is ideal for use as a patio plant. You can even grow your Basjoo banana tree indoors next to a sunny window!

It's 2 panels holding 1 big privacy screen. Can't use as 2 separate 4' panels, but works great.
    Size: 2 Panel 8FT W
This 2 panel privacy screen works well. Assembly was very straight forward, with easily labeled tubes. My son and I had it together in about 10 minutes, which was probably 3 minutes of me telling him to quit playing around and hand me the parts. It feels very sturdy, not likely to fall over or anything. The material fits well, with the Velcro being very strong. Measurements are all very accurate, with all pieces attaching properly. We have a similar privacy screen at work that we have to try and stretch out because the top and bottom Velcro doesn't fit quite right... this model does not have any issues though. The material is thin and light weight, but solid black so that you can't see anything through or behind it. I definitely think it's a great deal for the money. What I think would have given it 5 stars though, is if you had 2 totally separate 4' panels instead of 2 panels with one big screen. It really wouldn't cost any extra to make it so that the screen was in 2 pieces and you could use it as 2 separate panels instead of having to use it as one big panel. It says 2 panel folding privacy screens, but it's really one big one that folds in the middle.

Great value, perfect for our infant room!
Color: Black, Size: Standard - 4 Panel
Great product, sturdy design and easy to build! It is a fairly light weight item, which aids in the maneuverability of the divider. The color was as described and is dark enough to block the light from our sleeping infants! I do love that you are able to see through the slats and see the child sleeping- if you are looking for something with MORE privacy, this is not it. It has great coverage area and is dark and a wonderful value for the price, however, you are able to see through the areas where each panel connects!

Don’t waste your money or time!
Color: White, Size: Standard - 4 Panel
Don’t waste your money. The instructions make no sense and the metal poles are either sized wrong for the product or screw holes are incorrectly placed, but no two poles matched in size and placement making it impossible to put this together without the panels being warped. No matter how I tried to switch the poles to see if I had them wrong, they always turned out warped and incorrectly fit. I finally gave up and threw everything out - I wasted $50 on this junk and because I didn’t try to put it together immediately after I bought it, it is way too late for a refund. Lesson learned!

    Sturdiness
Color: Black, Size: Standard - 4 Panel
Not so sturdy. It worked well for its intended job, but, it has to be secured to the floor for long term use.
