Jewel Freeform Bowl - Handmade Ceramic Planter

The Jewel Freeform Bowl is a handmade ceramic planter with a rounded, organic shape and neutral glaze that adds quiet presence to any room. Its smooth, curved walls catch light in a subtle way, letting even a small plant become a soft focal point on a coffee table, shelf, or windowsill.

Each piece is individually crafted, so no two are exactly alike. Those slight variations in shape and finish give this planter the character of a studio piece rather than a mass‑produced pot. The low profile and curved sides create an artistic design that frames leafy greens or flowering plants without overwhelming them.

Versatile Indoor Planter

Styled as a low indoor planter bowl, the Jewel Freeform Bowl works well with compact plants such as African violets, ferns, succulents, herbs, and other small houseplants. It suits a range of spots around the home: as a centerpiece on a dining table, as an accent on a work desk, or as part of a small cluster of indoor planters in a living room corner. The open shape keeps sightlines clear while giving roots generous horizontal space.

It can hold a nursery pot nestled inside with decorative pebbles, a small mixed planting to create a mini indoor garden, or seasonal arrangements with moss and candles. For anyone who enjoys thoughtful styling, it works well as a flexible planter for home decor.

Minimalistic Home Decor Planter

The soft cream tone and clean lines make it a true minimal home decor planter. It pairs naturally with wood, linen, and other tactile materials and sits comfortably in Scandinavian, modern, boho, or Japandi interiors. Whether used alone or grouped with other pieces, it works as a quiet decorative indoor planter that supports the overall look of a space rather than competing with it.

I can't get the shampoo to lather
Style: Shampoo & Conditioner Set
I've put a quarter-size dollop of the shampoo on my hair and it just vanishes. It's not because we have hard water, because we don't. I get tons of lather from small amounts of other products. When I increase the amount of shampoo to about a fifty cent piece size, it just smears around. Almost like I'm trying to shampoo with hand lotion. I actually get a pretty good amount of lather from the conditioner. Much more than the shampoo. Maybe they put the wrong product in the wrong bottles? Either that or something must be wrong with my batch of shampoo?

A few I loved but the rest didn't excite me
Format: Paperback
I got this book because I wasn’t sure that I wanted a book of her complete poems. This one selects from each of her volumes of poetry (she was deceased at the time of its publication). I found that I almost exclusively liked poems from her book Diving into the Wreck, which won the National Book Award. So in the end, I came away from this volume not wanting to read her complete work but wanting to read Diving into the Wreck in its entirety. This pains me somewhat. I think of Adrienne Rich as a feminist ground-breaker and icon. I came away from this realizing I probably like her essays and books tackling how women are treated more than I like her poetry. I sensed in her reserve in her poetry, that she was not wanting to bring us entirely into the impetus of the poem, holding us at a bit of a distance and not being specific. While that isn’t true of all of her poetry, that’s the feel I was getting from much of it. One thing that struck me is that in this volume, there was little evidence of her voice as an activist. I don’t know if that’s true of her poetry in general or if it’s a result of the editorial choices in this volume. Most of the poetry was very much about relationship, about how people treat each other, whether individuals or groups. Not a lot of the poetry in this volume stuck with me. I would read it and then it was gone. Out of 400 pages of poetry, I marked only 12 poems. So I was disappointed that I didn’t connect more with Adrienne Rich’s poetry, especially since her poem “Diving into the Wreck” (from the book by the same name) is one of my favorite poems. I guess more evidence that I’m a fan of specific poems more than I’m a fan of poets.
