Sansevieria 'hahnii silver marginata'

Sansevieria trifasciata marginata is an ideal houseplant with gorgeous variegated green and silver leaves margined in creamy yellow margins. Beautiful out-flared wide cupped rosettes become larger than most hahnii cultivars. This tulip-shaped cultivar is slow to offset, thus scarce. Every angle of this plant is absolutely beautiful!

Origin: South Africa

Family: Asparagaceae

Height: 15-20 cm tall

Light: Sansevieria thrives in just about any light. Bright light to full sun, will also tolerate low light. It an excellent choice for low light conditions

Water: Allow the top inch (2.5 cm) of soil to dry out between watering during the growing season. In winter, water just enough to prevent the soil from drying out. Over watering will cause root rot. Take care not to water the center of the rosette of leaves because they'll rot easily if kept wet.

Humidity: Mist the leaves several times a week with a spray bottle. Mist your plant more frequently in the summer growing season- the more water you can supply the blooms, the healthier it will be.

Temperature: Average room temperatures 60-75 F/16-24 C. It will tolerate fluctuating temperatures, but not extreme cold.

Soil: A loose, well-drained potting mix. It can easily grow in soilless medium also.

Fertilizer: Feed a mild cactus fertilizer during the growing season; do not fertilizer in the winter.

Eliminates: Sansevieria species are believed to act as good air purifiers by removing toxins (such as formaldehyde, xylene and toluene) from the air. The plant convert CO2 to oxygen at night also.

I got these Robeez toddler sport sandals for my little one and honestly, they’ve been pretty great overall. Another big plus for me is how easy they are to put on and take off. If you have a toddler, you already know how much of a struggle shoes can be sometimes, so anything that saves time is a win. These slip on pretty easily, which makes getting out the door a lot less stressful. That said, the sizing was a little off for us. I ordered my child’s usual size, but they do seem to run a bit big. There’s more room than I expected, so they’re not as snug of a fit right now. It’s not a huge issue since they can still wear them, but I probably could have sized down for a better fit. Overall, I still really like these sandals. They’re comfortable, practical, and hold up well for everyday use. Just keep the sizing in mind when ordering!

Great sandals

I got these shoes for my 3-year-old. They are a good summer shoe that look good for everyday wear. I like that both straps are adjustable to help them to be more form-fitting to the foot. I like that the back ankle strap is *not* adjustable, because I don't feel the need for that one to be adjustable and also it's just kind of annoying because it's an extra thing that can potentially become undone. The whole shoe is foam including the uppers. One concern I have is that the sole is more slick than rubbery, so I'm concerned about these being slippery, especially with all of the summer activities that involve water. The footbed of the shoe has a bit of texture and seems comfortable. I appreciate that the sole bends easily to make them healthy for little feet that need to flex. These seem easy to clean, you could probably wash them in the washing machine, though I didn't see that anywhere so I don't know for sure. Overall, I find these to be high quality sandals and they are flexible for outdoor/wet situations as well as indoors.

Toddler sandals

Overall, these shoes are great for keeping near the back door and having shoes to throw on when my son wants to play outside. However, I would not necessarily have these be every day shoes as they don't feel as durable as some of his other sandals. The bottom of the shoes don't have a lot of grip, so I would caution against using these as water shoes. They are very adjustable and flexible though. And for the price, these are great "let's go outside" shoes. I like the color and function of these shoes, and my son doesn't seem uncomfortable in them. My biggest gripe is how large a size 8 is. They seem very big for a toddler size 8. I put some earbuds next to them for a size comparison in case you're like me and order true to size. You may want to size down for these. Other than that, these do the job for the price point.
