I designed it because using a hand trowel involves a lot of bending and these long handled versions make it easier on the back. It also gave me the opportunity to bring back another much loved garden tool the dibber.

As each tool is handmade its not economic to sell small tools individually so this set allows me to re-introduce a favourite of mine, especially for planting out leeks and bought in plug plants. The leather straps make it ideal to hang in your shed, greenhouse or garage as you can often see in Monty Dons’ potting shed in Gardeners World.
