Scientific Name
Crassula swaziensis variegata 'Money Maker' (thick-leaved plant from Swaziland, variegated variety, cultivar: money maker)

This species has been reclassified; it is now properly known as Crassula globularioides subsp. argyrophylla, a subspecies within the species C. globularioides. (meaning: globular-like thick-leaved plant with silver leaves)

Common Name
Money Maker Plant, Moneymaker, Variegated Crassula

Origin
This plant is originally from South Africa

Light
Bright light is important for Crassula, so pick a spot where it can get a few hours of morning or evening sun. Its variegation will start to vanish if there is not enough light, so keep an eye on its stripes!

Water
Let all of the soil dry out between waters; remember, in its natural habitat this plant is used to droughts between infrequent downpours. Cold water can shock the plant, so make sure your water is room-temperature at least before watering.

Humidity
Crassulas are used to low humidity, so don't keep it anywhere damp. An occasional hose down will keep the leaves free of dust, but make sure it dries out completely afterwards.

Soil
Use a well-draining soil mix with components such as sand and grit; a mix designed for cacti and succulents will work well here. Repot every 2-3 years in the spring.

Food
Feed every two months in the growing season, reduce to every three in autumn and winter.

Temperature
Ideal temperature is 15-26°C; make sure it does not get colder than 12°C in winter.

Pet-safe
No, this plant is toxic to pets and small humans.

Sprouts Top Tips
Keep an eye on the colour of the leaves to check on some of the most common issues with Crassula. If the leaves start to go red (aside from their natural variegation), this is a sign of sunburn and they should be gradually moved to a location with less direct sun. If the leaves are going yellow, however, the plant is probably too damp, and will benefit from brighter light and less frequent watering.

Fantastic new world! These Hockey Players take the cake!
Format: Kindle
What an epic beginning to a new world for Piper Rayne! The Nest and the Hockey men that inhabit the building are going to be something else in an entirely awesome way. Rowan Landry is a hockey player dubbed “Mr. Heartbreak,” and that gives you a clue of what he is known for stumbles upon a woman that he can’t resist. Will he change his ways? Or will they part ways and continue his heartbreak streak? I really enjoyed Rowan as a character because he is this alpha male hockey sensation and as you read you find out that there is so much more to him that just being a god at hockey. He is kind, heartwarming and knows how to use what he has to get what he wants. He is loyal and honest. A great leading man for this new series. Then you meet Kyleigh and you can’t help but be in love with her charm. She is witty, funny, beautiful and above all can hold her own and dish out quips! Kyleigh and Rowan needed to find themselves and their journey was beautiful to read. The rest of the Nest inhabitants form a charismatic second line of characters. It made me wish that I had their stories in my kindle already. I am looking forward to more. Bodhi will make your heart melt, you just wait! I loved this new world. I loved the sexiness in finding yourself and stumbling upon a once in a lifetime love maybe.

Stick Handling and Emotional Damage
Format: Kindle
Kyleigh (a.k.a Leigh) and Rowan meet at a wedding, do the horizontal mambo, and part ways thinking it’s a one-and-done. But fate had other plans. They run into each other again, and Rowan, in classic “emotionally unavailable man with feelings he doesn’t understand” fashion, suggests a casual, no-strings-attached situationship. As if that ever works.😏 Spoiler alert: It doesn’t. They fall for each other, obviously. But wait! Kyleigh hasn’t been totally honest. She gave him a fake name—and oh yeah, she’s also the little sister of his former teammate and best friend, Conor. It’s fine though, right? Because they’re not teammates anymore? (Cue evil laughter) Except that Conor gets traded to Rowan’s current team, and suddenly Kyleigh’s secret has the potential to blow up everything she cares about. Let’s talk about the spice level: 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ Let me just say—this might be the spiciest Piper Rayne book I’ve listened to yet. Rowan and Kyleigh were straight-up feral for each other. The scenes were hot without feeling repetitive, and you could feel how much they were starting to care for each other underneath all that heat. What I love about Rayne is that her books always deliver a solid story with a strong emotional pull and enough steam to keep things interesting. This one had both. Now for my only issue: The third act breakup. Look, I get it. Drama makes the world go round. But Kyleigh not telling Rowan her real name when they were just supposed to be friends-with-benefits? That’s not betrayal. That’s standard hot girl protocol. Rowan, you didn’t even know her last name—calm down.😒 Let’s take a moment to talk about Conor. He was an absolute douche-canoe. I’m an older sibling, so I get the whole protective thing—but this man was on a power trip. Your sister is a grown @ss woman, not a teenager sneaking out of the house. You’re her brother, not her father. Sit down and take several deep breaths. 🙄 We got the Avengers of audiobook narrators: Sean Masters, Erin Mallon, Connor Crais, JF Harding, Troy Duran, Teddy Hamilton, CJ Bloom. That’s not a cast—that’s a supergroup! Every voice fit the characters so well, which brought everything to life. Zero complaints! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Overall, Mr. Heartbreaker gave me everything I wanted: spice, swoon, hockey boys being dumb, and a heroine who didn’t owe anyone an explanation—but gave them one anyway. Definitely worth a listen.🏒💗 ⭐⭐⭐⭐ HEA? yes 3rd act break-up? yes Audio🎧 5/5 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️/5

Rowan & Kyleigh
Format: Kindle
Overall: ⭐️⭐️⭐️½ Couple: Rowan & Kyleigh ❋❋❋❋❋❋❋❋❋❋ ❝When I’m with you, I forget who I am to the outside world. I’m just a guy who met a girl that he can’t stop thinking about all the time.❞ ❋❋❋❋❋❋❋❋❋❋ I immersion read this book and the audio was a fantastic full cast, which I throughly enjoyed. This was a great setup for this series, and The Nest is bound to be a good time with the group of guys we have to look forward to. Rowan and Kyleigh were hot off the pages, but the emotional connection was definitely a slow burn. Their story had a lot of pieces to it and some hard issues. Rowan for me was everything, Kyleigh not so much. I wish I liked her but she acted way too immature for me, she turned it around a bit at the end. I was invested enough with the story and wanting Rowan to get happy ending to finish the book. I can't wait for Henrys book.

Perfect start to a new series!
Format: Kindle
Deliciously sexy in all the right ways! Piper Rayne, you've hooked me, and I'm now a fan for life. If you get the chance to listen to the audiobook, do it! It's duet, which includes several narrators in addition to Sean Masters and Erin Mallon, voicing side characters, which truly brings this hockey romcom to life. It's an absolutely delightful immersive read! Favorite Lines & Quotes: God, she’s ruining me, and I’m just letting her do it, but the last thing I want to do is om this. “You snuck up on me.” “You did, too. At a time when I didn’t believe in love or forevers.” “You’re the best surprise of my life.” We’ll have our arguments and disagreements, but I will forever remember that we have moments like this where we cherish and love one another. That will get us through the hard times. She’s found the man inside me I didn’t know was hidden, and I’m grateful for that because without her, I’m not sure he would have ever surfaced. Tropes & Themes: • Brother's best friend & teammate • Hockey romance • Found family • Swoon-worthy • Banter
