The cross targets the intersection of warocqueanum's scale, pendant leaf form, and dark velvet constitution with the vivid venation brilliance of the besseae lineage — producing elongated, heart-shaped leaves with a velvety dark surface and the characteristically bright venation besseae passes so reliably into its offspring. Generally more vigorous and adaptable than pure warocqueanum.

• Light: Bright but soft indirect light — the dark velvet surface from the warocqueanum lineage is sensitive to direct sun which bleaches and fades coloration.

• Soil: Very open, chunky epiphytic mix of orchid bark, perlite, and coco coir with excellent drainage and aeration; never waterlogged.

• Temperature/Humidity: Cool to warm temperatures between 65-78°F; high humidity of 70-80%+ is essential — inherited from the warocqueanum parent's montane cloud forest origin.

• Watering: Keep consistently but lightly moist — allow only the top inch to approach dryness between waterings. Never waterlog; never allow to dry out fully.

• Fertilizer: Feed with a balanced liquid fertilizer every 4-6 weeks during active growth; dilute to half strength. Reduce in winter.
