Heartleaf Philodendron (Philodendron Scandens) is a very popular house plant because it is extremely easy to grow and looks beautiful and lush. It's also known as the Sweetheart Plant.

Heart-shaped, glossy leaves emerge bronze, then quickly turn green. The leaves are typically 5-10 cm long and cover its long, slender stems that can grow to a couple of metres in length.

If you allow the long stems to grow, put your Heart Leaf Philodendron in a hanging basket, or let it trail from a shelf or bookcase. To train it to climb a moss pole, use floral tape or soft plant ties to hold the stems up to the pole, until its aerial roots sink in.

How to root your Heartleaf Philodendron cutting

Heartleaf Philodendron is one of the easiest indoor plants to propagate and you can choose to root your cutting directly in soil, water or in your choice of propagation substrate such as sphagnum moss, fern fibre, leca etc.

Water propagation is the fastest and easiest way to root your Heartleaf Philodendron cutting. Fill your glass or jar with filtered water or allow the tap water to sit out in the open for a while to let the chlorine dissipate. Submerge the lower 1-2 nodes of your cutting in the water with the leaves up above. Make sure that no leaves are touching the water as this could lead to rot.

Then, place in a warm spot that receives plenty of bright, indirect light (no direct sun though) and change the water regularly until the roots are at least an inch long and your cutting is ready to be planted in soil.

Heartleaf Philodendron Plant care

This gorgeous plant will tolerate low light but prefers bright, indirect light and will thrive in a small pot for a couple years with little care. Despite its tropical origins, this beautiful evergreen plant is tolerant of dry air, although it appreciates occasional misting. Keep its leaves clean by wiping them with a damp cloth.

Plant in a well-draining soil and ensure it dries halfway before each watering.

Just Right! Made in the Ukraine!
Material Type: 157mil Closed Cell Foam, Style: 157 mil 36 SqFt, Material Type: 157mil Closed Cell Foam, Style: 157 mil 36 SqFt
Great product! I doubled this up with Siless Sound Dampening material as well. I did a double layer of this insulation on the ceiling (same as in your home, more insulation up top) and single throughout the rest of the car, in my effort to turn my CUV into an interior camper for winter snow storm chasing! Looks great, easy to install, and I got to support the Ukraine! (I was leaning towards Kilmat products but they are made in the Russian Federation... with everything going on right now, it was a no brainer) Only downsides is (1) that you need to be really careful while handling it, because the stickiness WILL stick, (to your fingers) and if you handle it too much, you will pull some of that off. As long as you are careful there, you will be ok. (I personally cut the pieces to size/ smaller the better for tight spaces/ putting up behind other lines/hoses in the car... and then for the 2nd layer, I made sure I overlapped the seams so that there was no gap where the heat would escape through). Second Downside (2) is that I need a little bit more, but not a whole roll more worth... 50 sq ft would be better for what I needed it for, but whatever - I am being nitpicky at this point. Overall, Great Product/Looks Great/ I HIGHLY Recommend!

Works
Material Type: 157mil Closed Cell Foam, Style: 157 mil 36 SqFt
We used it on the inside of a jeep hard top. So far no complaints. The glue sticks. We were worried about the 110° temps and so far so good

High quality, super sticky, very effective
Style: 30 sqft
As long as the surface is thoroughly cleaned, these mats will stick to just about anything. They provide my car with a tremendous amount of sound dampening and have made riding in the car 10 times more enjoyable. I drive a Toyota Yaris and although the engine is built like it's meant to last forever (imagine that), the rest of the car is not of high quality. Which means we used to get A LOT of noise coming from the road, other cars, etc. After I installed these mats which, by the way, I wasn't able to install on every surface I wanted to install them on (due to lack of tools to be able to disassemble certain parts of the interior), the noise coming from outside the car is nearly completely gone. I covered the underside of my hood, the entire interior part of the hatchback, most of the floor in the trunk / spare tire well, and the entire interior side of the doors. The parts I couldn't get to (or didn't want to) were: the ceiling, underneath the driver & passenger seats, behind the dash and the floor for the 2nd row seating. As you can see I left a lot of surfaces untreated with this product AND STILL it blocks most of the sound. To note: people recommended getting the roller tools to help install these mats. I got a few of them in different sizes and they worked O K. Not because of the quality of the tool but because some places you need to install these mats in don't have enough clearance to use the tool. That being said, for the larger surfaces, the roller tools help a lot. Also I found it very beneficial to use aluminum tape while installing these. The tape I used is specifically designed for materials that undergo high temperature changes (like your dryer vents, etc.). This wasn't because the mats were not sticky enough but because there were some places I installed the mats with small gaps between them. I'd also recommend getting some kind of fluffy insulation-type material for large spaces that need noise dampening. Rock wool, for example, worked great for me. As an example, the interior sides of the 2nd row seating walls had large spaces between the plastic interior cover and the metal part of the car wall. I'd install the mats on the metal but was left with 6" - 7" of space between it and the plastic cover. I chose to fill those spots (and spots like it) with insulation which provided EVEN MORE noise dampening.
