Native to South Africa, this Euphorbia plant forms a low, central caudex from which numerous short, cylindrical, gray-green stems radiate outward in a circular pattern.
The stems are slightly ridged and may display subtle mottling, adding texture and depth to the plant’s appearance.
Like other Euphorbias, it contains a milky latex sap that can be irritating to skin and should be handled with care.
Its compact yet dynamic growth makes it particularly appealing for container culture and display.
The main stem of Eiphorbia gorgonis is round or cone-shaped and can grow up to 4 inches wide, with a flat or slightly sunken center that reaches about 2 inches.
