This seed is part of my ongoing open breeding project focused on refining soft blush, fully double, cup-formed cosmos with strong stems for cutting. These whimsical beauties glow in soft blush, growing on a tall plant with perfect stems for cutting. Every year I delight in them more and more!

This is the first year I'm sharing my seed stock after 2 seasons of selection for super fluffy doubles! I began this project because I was getting mostly singles from online seed sources for cupcake-type cosmos. What I've learned through the years is that the drift towards singles is very natural, because the coveted double-type flowers need several steps of careful extra tending to even set seed! Well worth it in my opinion, and I'm happy to share the fruits with you.

• Life cycle: Annual
• Start: Start indoors 4-6 weeks before last frost, or direct sow after last frost
• Planting depth: Lightly cover;  ¼" deep
• Spacing: 9–12" apart
• Site: Full sun, well-drained (avoid rich soil)
• Days to maturity: 75-100 days
• Height: 4-5'

This seed was collected from my favorite cupcake-type cosmos plants, which were open-pollinated, with no other cosmos on the vicinity. Some variation can be expected. 

Approximately 25 seeds. Germination tests for this seed lot were near 100%.
