Our 2026 Update: New Decks Proudly Made in the USA
For over a decade our Original Bamboo Hybrid decks have been a signature part of SkateXS — a unique lightweight and durable option for young riders learning and progressing. Here in 2026, we have started introducing a new line of Made in USA Premium Maple skateboard decks to localize our production and support American manufacturing.
Our new made in the USA hardwood premium maple decks use:
- 6-Ply Maple for our 7" × 28" decks (light, responsive, ideal for youngest riders)
- 7-Ply Maple for our 7.25", 7.4", and 7.75" decks (classic strength and feel)

The Pro complete is a contest ready board optimized for speed and performance at the skatepark. It comes with select brand name components from several of the finest and most trusted brands in skateboarding. This is a high quality setup which provides the young skateboarder with a skateboard that can take them from their first pushes all the way to the most advanced tricks and maneuvers out there!
The right size - We've sized our decks specifically for younger skaters to make them easier to balance and maneuver Kids can learn to skate more safely and are able to advance their skills more quickly on properly sized skateboards.
We recommend our 7" x 28" deck for skaters age 5-7 and our 7.25" x 29" for skaters aged 8-10. (Based on average weight of 8 year old being about 60 lbs).
The right material - Our Bamboo/Maple hybrid decks offer light weight, durability, and board "pop" all while being sustainable and environmentally friendly. It is a great choice for the skater and a great choice for the planet.
SkateXS brand board are absolutely "real" skateboards that meet or exceed the quality of boards that are found in traditional skateparks and skated in competitions such as the X-Games.

- We will replace the stock truck bushings with Bones Hardcore Bushings - white or black with blue edge
- Allows trucks to be more responsive and higher performing
- Smoother turns and overall skating experience
Please select the Board Size, Grip Tape Color and Wheel Type prior to adding board to cart. As we build all our orders from scratch the product image will not change to reflect your specific configuration.
Each Complete consists of 1 Skateboard Deck, 1 Sheet Grip Tape, 2 Trucks, 8 Bearings, 4 Wheels, Assembly Hardware. All orders are professionally built by hand and are ready-to-skate out of the box!
