About Echeveria 'Moon Stone'

Echeveria 'Moon Stone' features pointy fleshy leaves with dark red color on the tips, with its smaller leaves arranged in a rosette shape. They aren't as vibrant in the summer. In deep fall and winter, the red part on the tips will be wider if they get full daylight.

How to care for Echeveria 'Moon Stone'

Sun/Location: Like most indoor succulents, Echeveria 'Moon Stone' feel happy in indirect bright sunlight. It can be placed outdoors in spring and fall to get full sunlight for about 4-6 hours. Shade is required in summer to avoid sunburn. In winter, protection from frost is needed. Click here to see How to Overwinter Succulents and Succulents Summer Care.

Soil/Pot: To ensure the health of succulents, they need a porous, well-draining cactus soil mix to live in. To create succulent soil, add pumice, perlite, or gritty rocks to garden soil to improve drainage. For succulents, the perfect size of pots is bigger than 1-2 inch to succulents.

Watering: Succulents require little watering but don't like to sit in wet soil. The best way of watering is the ''soak and dry'' method. Water thoroughly when the soil is dry. Click here to check if you are overwatering or underwatering your succulents.

Tiny print
Format: Hardcover
I bought this as a gift. She loves it, but the print is terribly small and the hard cover won't lay flat. I'm going to return it and order one that she can read without glasses and a magnifying glass.

Meaningful curriculum that I highly recommend.
Format: Paperback
Heard about this book from a friend who is a teacher. Her entire school is using this curriculum and seeing great results. I bought a copy and the poster set to try for myself. Students loved it! We had amazing discussions and my students' kindness level increased by 100 percent. I appreciate that there is a curriculum for public schools that takes the students to a deeper level of understanding about themselves and others. More of my colleagues are interested in this material and I think we will be doing a book study soon. Hoping it will be adopted by our curriculum department for the entire district. Pros: Easy to use,, researched based (not fluffy), poster set to support, nice work pages for students to use during the lesson, age appropriate, meaningful connections made between myself, students and between the students and their families. Well received by community. Cons: Lessons were slightly longer than 35 minutes but I added my own activities for additional interest. Not a good curriculum for educators who only want to focus on academics.

Love this for my class!
Format: Paperback
I use this with my high school students with slight modifications. Great for little kids. Great to use when learning about your new students so you can show appreciation for your students in a productive way.

Some of the scripting is rather good, especially for safe touch
Format: Paperback
I was rather excited about this book initially. The work pages are done well for their appropriate age levels and I felt the lessons were okay. Some of the scripting is rather good, especially for safe touch. However, it is mostly seat work. I was looking for something that would work with all learning styles better and include a few interacting activities, maybe even a game. I have quite a few kinesthetic learners so I have had to come up with my own activities to go along with it.

Successful!
Format: Paperback
I taught these lessons to my students at the end of the school year which can be a hectic time. I could tell the students really understood the love languages and were applying them at school and at home. I look forward to using it to start off the new school year.
