The ‘Domino’ Peace Lily is a Variegated peace lily variety that is not as commonly seen as an indoor houseplant as its solid green cousin.

With unique green and white striped foliage and the classic white peace lily flowers that rise above the evergreen foliage, it is not hard to see why so many tropical plant enthusiasts are interested in it. The shiny dark green and white streaked leaves will become more variegated if given more indirect sunlight. The white flowers usually appear in the spring and summer growing seasons.

The toxins it can remove include benzene, formaldehyde, trichloroethylene, xylene, and ammonia. We recommend keeping this plant in your bedroom at night to help you sleep. Variegated Peace Lily Care

Peace lily plants prefer bright, indirect light conditions for best results. The more light the plant receives, the more variegation will show, and the more it will bloom. Be sure not to expose it to direct sunlight as this can burn or scorch the green leaves and they will turn yellow and eventually brown.

Peace lily watering schedules can change throughout the year. They are thirsty plants and in the warm, summer months it may need watering up to 3-4x/week especially if in a shallow container or being growing outdoors. If you are wondering how often to water a peace lily, the best way to tell is by feeling the soil for moisture or purchasing a moisture meter.

You can grow peace lilies indoors or outdoors as long as they have the proper growing conditions. The mature size of the plant can get up to 2 feet tall and wide. If being grown outdoors, the plant can only tolerate USDA hardiness zone 11 but can be moved indoors for the winter months in other zones. Growing peace lilies indoor, care may differ slightly depending on the humidity, light, and temperatures.

Peace lilies prefer well-draining soil and being planted in a container with a drainage hole. We recommend our Organic Potting Mix with added Perlite as the best option. You can fertilize peace lilies annually in early spring to promote growth and encourage flowering. You can prune the peace lily as desired to maintain size and shape.

As a reviewer noted on page 6, it’s not reversible, which can be a headache if your layout changes or you order the wrong orientation. 🪛 Build Quality is Solid but Assembly Could Be Smoother The frame is sturdy and feels well-made, but you’ll need to screw the rails into the base — and the screws included aren’t the best. One user suggested bolts instead of screws (page 6), and I agree. Good use of vertical space. It feels very secure and sturdy once mounted. It comes with everything you need, there’s a label for every spice and variation of that spice you can think of (different labels for the same spice but whole vs ground) and plenty of jars, with a few extra. Very well thought out. The tops were also standard enough to fit some of my existing spice jars so I didn’t even need to transfer those ones I just swapped lids and/or added a label. I previously had a different pull out spice rack with two flat shelves but it was a pain to find a specific spice without moving some out of the way, and it held maybe half as many jars as this one. This is an easy organization project that will free up a ton of horizontal cabinet space and makes finding spices while cooking significantly easier. If you do want to use your existing jars, make sure they have a flat side, as cylinder shaped jars roll around a bit when you slide it out. I just transferred my spices with round jars into the provided jars so wasn’t an issue for me! Really great value, especially considering how much the kit comes with!
