Beavertail Cactus 'Oregon Giant' (Opuntia basilaris) is an EXCLUSIVE hybrid prickly pear cactus growing in the high desert region of central Oregon. It is a unique hybrid that we think is a cross of two sub types of O. basilaris, it is has an upright and wide growing habit, and has extra large pads, eventually reaching the size of dinner plates or larger! This is the largest variety of beavertail cactus we've seen and has been growing completely unprotected for decades in the cold high desert region of central Oregon, zone 6b, repeatedly seeing temps below zero degrees F! These have been planted as far north as Canada surviving temps below -25 degrees F!! Planting instructions are included!

Cute Toy, Not Long Lasting
Super cute toy and I knew going in it wouldn’t last long against my Carolina Dog Winston! He love to do the step and pull method of deconstruction. He chewed and pulled the head off the toy pretty quick. But the body lasted a few days more than your average toy and he is still playing with the body of the toy. Minimal stuffing made for an easy clean-up. I loved the size of the bear it was perfect for a medium sized dog. It had a perfect squeak!! Super soft, Winston slept with it the first night (or guarding it??) All and all a decent cheap fun surprise for the pup!
