Product Name: Ricestar

Product Type: Herbicide
Brand Name: Bayer

Product Overview:

Ricestar is a selective post-emergent grass herbicide containing Fenoxaprop-p-ethyl 69 EC (6.7% w/w). It targets barnyard grasses in paddy, giving weed control with high crop safety. It allows flexibility in timing (3-5 leaf stage of weeds), and can be tank-mixed with broadleaf/sedge herbicides (like Sunrice) for more complete weed control.

Summary:

Feature Details
Product Type / Formulation Selective grass herbicide, EC (Emulsifiable Concentrate) formulation
Target Crop Rice / Paddy (transplanted & direct-seeded)
Target Weed(s) Mainly Echinochloa species (barnyard grass) and similar grass weeds emerging post-emergence.
When to Apply 20-25 days after sowing or transplanting; weeds should be at 3-5 leaf stage for best results.
Dosage / Application Rate 250 ml per acre , using 150-200 L of water per acre.
Pre-Harvest Interval (PHI) 61 days between the last application and harvest.
Mode of Action Enters through leaves and stems; absorbed; disrupts fatty acid synthesis in actively growing parts of grass weeds, halting their growth.
Crop Safety Safe for rice when used at recommended dose and timing. High selectivity.
Flexibility & Compatibility • Works in transplanted and direct-seeded rice. • Allows some flexibility in weed age (3-5 leaf stage). • Compatible in tank mixes with broadleaf herbicides (e.g. Sunrice) for broader weed spectrum.

Benefits:

  • Effective control of grass weeds - especially Echinochloa species (“barnyard grass”) that compete heavily with rice.
  • High crop safety - safe to the rice crop when used at the recommended dose and timing.
  • Flexible application window - works well when the weeds are at the 3-5 leaf stage, which gives a practical window for spraying.
  • Good compatibility with other herbicides - can be mixed (tank-mix) with broadleaf or sedge herbicides like Sunrice for more complete weed control.
  • Reduces manual weeding / labour cost - by efficiently cutting down weed pressure, it saves time and effort.
  • Long-lasting suppression of grassy weeds once applied correctly - weeds die off visibly in days, and total control can continue for some time after.

A Beta Worth Rooting For
Format: Kindle
In Spare, Violet Fox flips the omegaverse on its head, giving us a Beta heroine determined to make her mark. Joining the Beta Trials to support her sick father, she's thrown into a pack that doesn't want her, especially the possessive Alphas. But here's the twist: their sweet Omega turns out to be her scent match. Cue the angst, forbidden tension, and a slow-burn romance that will make your heart ache in the best way. Violet Fox delivers an emotional, refreshing take on the genre, proving Betas aren't "spares." They're stars.

Beta, Alpha, Omega oh my!
Format: Kindle
Omegas are precious and given to Alphas & their packs... but the Betas want in too. To this end, the Beta government is rolling out its trial of assigning a Beta to each Alpha-Omega pack. But forcing a Beta into a pack where they are not wanted will not end well... Of course, no one expected the Omega to fall for the assigned Beta. Great read and cliffhanger

A familiar story, just with…..less.
Format: Kindle
So, as other reviewers make clear, this is very similar to Pack Darling and The Beta. It’s much closer aligned with The Beta, in plot and maybe more like Pack Darling with characters. That being said, I don’t hate this…..but it wasn’t great either. It’s both books mentioned but just….less. Less angst, less emotion, less feeling. The plot feels very half fleshed out, and the “bad guy” feels underwhelming. I didn’t really feel any real emotions from and of the male leads, except maybe Oliver. The others fell sorta flat for me. And Mika makes herself out to be this big bad ass straight outta training and then we never see it from here again with the one fitting room incident as the exception. SPOILER: The whole, “Oh, I’m actually probably an Omega, but I don’t wanna be but I do actually wanna be but no one can ever know my secret that I do nothing to hide “ thing fell so flat. She never commutes to believing she was secretly an omega, but also mentions her “secret” a lot. It just felt so manufactured. I’m intrigued enough to read part 2 and see how the author closes everything out, but this is not one I’ll recommend or ever come back to.

ABSOLUTELY A MUST for Omegaverse Girls!!!
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE Jillian West and her books!!! I’m so happy I already bought book two and now I have to buy the others for the Assurance Security series!! Not gonna lie Val kind of annoyed me at the beginning but she grew on me!! Her men are chef’s kisses!!! Holt annoys me some but I can let it slide. I already bought part two so I’m going to be reading that in between work phone calls!!!! DON’T TELL MY BOSS 😂😂😂😂

Baby bumps and bodyguards
Format: Kindle
Dark, emotional, and unexpectedly tender, Not Ready is an omegaverse romance that delivers found family feels, fierce protectiveness, and a very pregnant heroine who refuses to break. Vale’s on the run from a stalker, but lands in the arms of three private security alphas, cue the swoony tension, fake marriage twist, and slow-burn heat. It’s a little gritty, a little soft, and a whole lot addictive. If you love protective alphas, high stakes, and heroines with quiet strength, this one’s a must-read.
