Designed to be easy for everyone to get into moss poles, with no fiddly assembly. Drip cap comes as standard.

Perfect for plant parents just starting out with moss poles, this pole requires no assembly, just slot in new sections and fill with moss as your plant grows. This kit also comes standard with our SlowDrip caps to help make your moss poles more self-watering.

Engineer-Designed & Made in the UK

We created Mythos3Design because we were frustrated with ugly, scraggly moss poles from garden centres that fall apart. Every pole is engineer-designed to be both aesthetic and well-engineered, then carefully printed and quality-checked by us before it reaches your plants.

  • Full moss pole kit with drip cap as standard. No assembly required!
  • Diamond design in popular colours
  • Slot together for easy assembly (made by an engineer so you don't have to be one).

Top moss pole features

  • Extendable, self-watering moss pole kit with drip cap
  • Zero assembly, perfect for beginners
  • Self-watering with drip cap.

Top moss pole benefits

  • Easy-to-use fully stocked moss pole kit
  • Buildable and extendable
  • Maximising moss volume in this small but mighty kit.

Product specification

The basic kit includes:

  • 3-prong base
  • 2 sections, for an effective moss pole height of 44 cm (17.4")
  • SlowDrip cap, capable of holding about 250 ml of water
  • Pin for cleaning the SlowDrip cap

Diamond face trellis, with clear semi-circular back (half-moon).

This pole can be extended as your plant grows, simply add another section every time you run out of space!

The clear plastic sheet that covers the back of the pole helps seal in moisture, allowing your pole to stay humid longer between waterings. This pole is designed to be easy to put together, and as such is not comparable to our sturdier D-Pole and XXL-Line products, so make sure you add a support bracket to prevent overloading the joints.

Material

The front and joints are made of PLA, and the backing is PETG. PLA is a 100% bio-sourced plastic: it's made of renewable resources such as corn or sugar cane. PLA is also biodegradable and it can be composted. PETG is a 100% reusable material.

Sizing

The standard kit is a dual module kit that includes two single modules that measures 8.5 cm (3.35") in width and 22 cm (8.6") in height, with a depth of 6.5 cm (2.35") to maximise moss volume. So with the standard kit, you are getting 44 cm (17.4") of moss pole when assembled.

Assembly

This pole includes a stake that is designed to be pushed into the soil of an established plant and pot, or you can bury the notches as you pot up a new setup. Keep growing your pole with your plant by purchasing extension kits.

Additional modules can be attached without the use of any tools, with dovetail joints. In the same fashion, the poles may be disassembled for cleaning and reuse if your plant doesn't take to its home. The transparent curved back will allow you to supervise root growth, while retaining moisture for longer.

As hydrated moss can be very heavy, our recommendation is that you use an additional brace if your plant is very heavy, or if you extend your moss pole past the initial kit.

Small print

Everything we make is printed to order and lovingly squeezed out by our 3D printers at our little workshop, so there may be slight variations and minor visual defects to your products. This is just a standard feature of the production method.

Review of the Two Week Curse
Format: Kindle
Enjoyed the story, not usually into too much magic, but totally understand the role it plays in these stories. Highly entertaining story and like the morals of the two main characters. Good read and would gladly recommend to anyone.

Wonderful middle grade book
Format: Hardcover
This book is part historical fiction and part sci-fi. I bought because we like getting the Newberry award winner every year. We loved this story. It was fun read a book placed when I was kid and see/show my kids how much the world has changed, but it also had a fun time travel element. This coming of age follows a kid and his worries about Y2k. He deals with the death of a friend and worries about everything. We loved this story and it's special sections back i to the future making it easy to believe that time travel is real.

Fantastic
Format: Kindle
Time travel books are fun. You have to wrap your head around how they work out in the end. This time travel book sort of sneaks up on you, in that other things are going on while Ridge, the time traveler, is checking out 1999. For those who were alive in 1999, we all worried about Y2K, when all the computers would stop working. Scientists worked hard to make sure that it wouldn’t, and at the time, only one bank had trouble after the new year began. Other than that, we were all fine, and life went on. Micheal, is obsessed with Y2K, and when he learns that Ridge is from the future, it is all he wants to know about, and Ridge can’t tell him, as the event is too close. He can tell him how he got his name, and a little about how life is like in the future, but that is about it. But Ridge is the first time traveler, and he has no idea if anything he says will change things, so he has to be very careful. He has no idea what he will find when she returns home, and so worries about everything he says. I really enjoyed this book. I marked several passages that spoke to me. And even the title is such a good thing to bring up and explain, in that it means living in the present time. Not worrying about the future or the past.

Brilliant
Format: Hardcover
The First State of Being is a brilliant, highly readable middle grade book from the QUEEN of character-driven middle grade literature. This expansive sci-fi feels at once introspective and cinematic, leaping off the page like something made for a movie. This book will help young people and all readers reflect on our past and future as a human community, especially in terms of health advances, animal extinction, and the potential for technological development. It also highlights the love and fight in a mother and the need to view life through a positive lens by focusing most on the present, not our past or future.
