The persistent, papery calyx displays blue hues, adorned with small white central florets, resembling stars in the night sky - hence its poetic name. The oblong anthers are characteristic, with a natural flowering period from summer to early autumn (June-August), though this can be regulated through cultivation. This plant thrives in sunny, dry and cool conditions, while being intolerant to waterlogging and humidity. It demonstrates excellent drought and salt tolerance, preferring loose, fertile, well-drained slightly alkaline soils.
- Valued for its long-lasting floral display and colorfast calyx that retains hue when dried, it serves as an outstanding ornamental for flower beds, borders and rock gardens, while being particularly prized for cut and dried flower arrangements. Size Does Matter

Overall Impression: I needed a replacement filter for my wife’s car and I didn’t want to spend a small fortune. This item was practically a steal at the list price. No need to spend more money, all the quality and longevity can be had with this filter. My wife drives her car almost every day and that means it gets a pretty good amount of use and lasts about 12 months until I decide to change them again.
