5 glass vials filled with antique garden seeds from the United Kingdom, just waiting to be added to your collection - so many ways to use this set!

The garden seeds in this set are from a larger collection (as shown in the last photo). The garden seeds were collected in the United Kingdom, and have been stored in glass vials since around the 1910s. There are a total of 29 glass vials in this collection (available separately), and each of the glass vials appears to contain a different kind of garden seed. Some of the vials have the plant name written on paper inside the vials. Because the seeds have been stored for so long, the seeds may no longer be viable to plant and grow. The glass vials in this set (and in the other sets listed) are being sold as decorative pieces only.

The garden seed vials would look great on display in a curio cabinet! If you prefer, turn each vial into a piece of jewelry or a work of art. And if you have a green thumb, you could even try growing the seeds!

From the labels on the glass vials:
- Kidney Vetch
- Cut-Leaf Cranes-Bill
- Rumex Acetosa
- Unlabeled
- Unlabeled (possibly a grass seed of some kind)

We have more individual vial sets from this large collection available separately. Choose your favorites, or make it a large set!

ITEM CONDITION
This set of glass vials is in very good vintage condition, especially considering they are around 100 years old. The glass vials are intact and include the original corks. One glass vial has a piece of glass missing at the top of the vial, near the cork, but the cork remains in place. We have not tried to remove the corks - they may be brittle and we didn't want to take the chance of breaking them. The garden seeds inside the corks are exactly as shown. Please use the ZOOM tool to get a close up view of this item and its condition.

LISTING INCLUDES

Too big for puppies
Color: A.Green+Orange
The balls were a bit too big for my 6 month chihuahuas:/ they are as big as a tennis ball so puppies didn’t like nor play with them

This is a big ball.
Larger than I thought but still a great toy for a heavy chew pup, easy to toss and won't go under funiture. She has the same ball in a 5 inch size so I know it's quality and will last. Can't wait for Summer, will make a great yard ball.

Second one, first one lasted a good while
We leave it outside in the weather with solid results for our backyard dog, and the dog loves this thing. It's our go to toy for her, ... perfect for kick to fetch, tug of war, hide in the shirt, bump the human leg when it is wet, etc. ;) The first one we used and used and finally it started to show too much weathering, mildew, and finally breaking after like 1.5 years... we have extremely hot and wet weather here. When new though, these balls take a pounding. Our 50 pound dog can play tug of war to the extent we can pick her up while she holds onto the ball with her teeth. The ball doesn't flinch and the dog loves it. Kicking it is fun because you can give it a wallop and it won't go over the fence since the design absorbs a fair bit of the kick energy, but it is still enough for an adult or teen to send it about 1/4 an acre away. What else... oh the dog has a funny habit of finding the one spot that isn't an empty pentagon... as in the plastic is filled in there... and she likes to bit on that part especially during tug of war. I should also mention our dog literally breaks apart and sometimes eats sticks and twigs in the yard, can't be healthy, so a nice diversion is this ball that she will chew on once in a while without destroying it.
