Sow outdoors after all danger of frost has passed. Or, start indoors 4-6 weeks before the last expected frost and transplant seedlings.

Plant seeds individually or broadcast them over an area and thin them out as needed.

Brush an 1/8-1/4” layer of soil over the seeds, so they are just covered. Do not bury them – they need sun to germinate. Water the seeds directly after planting and then water consistently throughout the season.
