Care & tips Nerium Oleander shrub - 120cm

The Nerium Oleander is a beautiful flowering shrub that blooms profusely in the summer months with colorful flowers. This plant is ideal for a sunny garden, balcony or terrace. Although reasonably hardy, the Oleander is not completely hardy. In severe frosts, we recommend protecting the plant or putting it inside. Prune the shrub after flowering to keep it compact and healthy, and regularly remove spent flowers to encourage new growth.

Water requirements Nerium Oleander shrub - 120cm

The Nerium Oleander likes slightly moist soil. Allow the top layer to dry out slightly between waterings, but make sure the root ball never dries out completely, especially during hot summer days. It needs water faster in a pot than in the open ground.

Light requirements Nerium Oleander shrub - 120cm

This Mediterranean plant feels best in a place with lots of sunlight. The more sun, the more profuse the flowering. A position facing south or west is ideal. In semi-shade, flowering will be less rich. Preferably put the plant in a sheltered spot, out of the cold wind.

New husky has more energy than an entire pre-school - even being walked more than three miles a day wasn’t sufficient to drain her excess energy. I threw the dice on this - and it’s AWESOME. When you turn it on, the blue LEDs flash, the entire device buzzes, bounces, and races back and forth across the floor. After a couple of days of uncertainty, my new husky LOVES this. She chases it around, grabs it by the attached rope and carries it from room to room. After a short bit of activity, the toy goes into ‘sleep’ mode, until either the dog touches it again or a timer has elapsed, and then it fires up and starts buzzing and racing around the floor again. From a full charge, the toy will keep your dog entertained all day. Bright orange color makes it much easier to find when it’s rolled behind the toilet (as it did this afternoon). Sturdy. Highly resistant to chew damage. If this one wears out or breaks, I’ll absolutely get another one.

The company does include an extra replacement piece, which is actually a great idea and appreciated. However, he ended up chewing that one up too after a few more play sessions. This toy worked well for short-term play and entertainment, but it’s not durable enough for large dogs with strong chewing habits. I think this would be much better suited for small to medium dogs.
