Berseem Clover is a forage legume for deer and livestock, it helps with weed suppression and erosion control. Winter Pea is a great foraging crop for wildlife. Winter Pea adds organic matter and nitrogen to the soil and helps with soil stabilization and erosion control. Crimson Clover is not only pretty to look at but good for hay and bees, erosion control and adds nitrogen to the soil.
Seeding Rates: If planting only the cover crop mix, we recommend 50 lbs. per acre or 3 lbs. per 1,000 sq. ft. If planting with native wildflowers, we recommend 10-12 lbs. per acre or 1/4 to 1/2 lb. per 1,000 sq. ft.
