Germination Guide
- These are expensive and rare seeds so please take your time!
- Prepare a light, fertiliser free compost mix - ideally 50:50 mix of coco coir & vermiculite
- Soak seeds overnight in a small bowl of water with a tablespoon of hydrogen peroxide if you have it - this is optional but H2O2 helps soften the seed coat & also kills any fungus or bacteria on the seed coat
- Fill pots with the compost mix, moist but not wet
- Keeping the soil warm helps speed up germination (like 75-80F).
- Sow seeds individually around 3cm deep and cover
- Place pots on a heated tray or reptile heat mat (very cheap) to maintain temperature of 24-28c
- Lightly cover the pots but leave some air holes for ventilation
- Ensure does not dry out
- Germination can take 7 to 21 days depending on conditions
- Once sprouted, remove any cover
- Once plants have several true leaves a quarter strength liquid feed can be added
- Basic care for monstera is just bright, indirect light & water when dry.
- Don't use heavy potting soil that holds a lot of water, they like chunky well drained potting soil.

Incredible reading

I bought this just before Christmas when a guest speaker talked about it in our church. I immediately looked up and bought it right away. This is a quality book. Hard bound with heavy gloss paper and nice art inside and out. But the real value is inside. I couldn't put it down. If you've ever wanted to know more indepth details about the Christmas story, a detailed and true explanation of the birth of Jesus, this is the book to buy. It's worth every penny. If you've ever had questions like: why those shepherds? what made them so special? details about the "wise men", why do only Luke and Mark detail these events, why Nazareth? and so much more... buy the book! I took my book over my daughter's house for Christmas Eve with her and her kids + a few friends. They aren't all as familiar with scripture as my husband and I are, but I've insisted on continuing the tradition my mom started of reading the Christmas Story before we open any presents. I brought this book and told them a few things covered in the book... like where the manger was. When we left, I offered to leave the book if anyone wanted to look at it... one of the girls excitedly said she was hoping I would leave it. She really wanted to read it. I couldn't have been more thrilled. I would encourage anyone interested in this book to buy it, read it, and give it to someone else who will read it too. For the money, what a great witnessing tool! It's so factual, it will speak to those who are kind of "on the fence".

Want to know the back story behind Christmas? Rick Renner is a scholar and pastor extraordinaire! He delves into the Greek and highlights many details that you may have passed over in scripture! This is a wonderful read, the artistry is beautiful and he has written a back story for Easter also if you love this one. You will not regret getting this book!
