Dracaena marginata is a wonderfully resilient plant with long, slender green leaves edged with red. The leaves grow in a dense clump at the ends of the branches in such a way that they look like the backs of porcupines perched on a trunk. While the leaves look sharp and jagged at a glance, they are just as soft as normal leaves and won’t leave a scratch. Not too fussy about light and water, these plants are excellent for any level of plant parent!

Marginata canes prefer a bright, indirect light source. They can be happy in lower light conditions, but they won’t thrive in the same way as they would with something a little brighter. Be aware though, you'll want to keep it away from the direct sunlight, this can burn the leaves. The large Marginata comes in a 10” wide plastic grow pot, making this plant the perfect size to fill any big floor spot, from an empty corner that needs a big update to a busy living room looking for a grounding piece.
