  •   Mangave 'Bad Hair Day' is a stunning architectural succulent that's a hybrid cross between Agave and Manfreda species. This rare mangave combines the bold structure of agaves with the softer growth habit of manfredas, creating an exceptional drought tolerant succulent perfect for collectors.

Mangave 'Bad Hair Day' forms dramatic rosettes of thick, fleshy leaves that curve and twist in wild directions, living up to its playful name. The lime green succulent displays distinctive purple-red spotting across its foliage, creating an eye-catching contrast that makes this spotted foliage plant truly architectural. Each rosette can reach 12-18 inches across, with leaves that have a slightly wavy texture and burgundy edges that intensify in bright light.

Mangave 'Bad Hair Day' produces tall flower spikes with tubular blooms in late spring to early summer, though flowering may take several years to occur. The plant can stay outdoors in autumn and tolerates dry heated air, making it adaptable to various growing conditions. Its sap can cause skin irritation, so it's best placed away from small children on a high shelf out of reach.

This low maintenance plant thrives in both direct sun and surprisingly low-light conditions, making Mangave 'Bad Hair Day' incredibly versatile for indoor growing. The hardy succulent handles drafty spots and balcony wind and rain with ease, and can move outside for summer adventures. Collectors prize this rare mangave for its unique form and resilience, as it survives 10-day trips alone and cats and dogs shouldn't be left to nibble the plant.

  •   Mangave 'Bad Hair Day' thrives in bright indirect light but adapts well to direct sun or low-light conditions.

Water Mangave 'Bad Hair Day' deeply but infrequently, allowing soil to dry completely between waterings every 2-3 weeks.

Mangave 'Bad Hair Day' grows best in well-draining cactus or succulent soil with excellent drainage to prevent rot.

Mangave 'Bad Hair Day' tolerates temperatures from 20°F to 100°F (-7°C to 38°C) and handles temperature fluctuations well.

Mangave 'Bad Hair Day' grows slowly to moderately and requires minimal fertilizing, just occasional diluted succulent fertilizer in spring.

Mangave 'Bad Hair Day' thrives in USDA hardiness zones 8b-11 and tolerates light frost down to 20°F (-7°C). This hardy range includes states like Texas, Florida, California, Arizona, Nevada, Louisiana, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina (coastal areas), Alabama, Mississippi, Arkansas (southern regions), Tennessee (southern areas), and Hawaii. Gardeners in Oregon's coastal regions, parts of Washington state, and southern Virginia can also successfully grow Mangave 'Bad Hair Day' outdoors year-round in protected locations.
  • Q: How often should I water my Mangave 'Bad Hair Day'?
A: Water Mangave 'Bad Hair Day' every 2-3 weeks during growing season, allowing soil to completely dry between waterings. Reduce watering to monthly or less in winter.

Q: Can Mangave 'Bad Hair Day' grow in low light indoors?
A: Yes, Mangave 'Bad Hair Day' adapts surprisingly well to low-light conditions indoors. While it prefers bright light, it's more tolerant of dimmer spots than most succulents.

Q: Is Mangave 'Bad Hair Day' safe around pets and children?
A: Mangave 'Bad Hair Day' should be kept out of reach of pets as cats and dogs shouldn't nibble the plant. The sap can also cause skin irritation, so place it away from small children.

Q: How big does Mangave 'Bad Hair Day' get?
A: Mangave 'Bad Hair Day' typically reaches 12-18 inches across and about 12 inches tall. It grows slowly to moderately, making it perfect for containers and indoor spaces.

Q: Can I grow Mangave 'Bad Hair Day' outdoors year-round?
A: Mangave 'Bad Hair Day' can stay outdoors year-round in USDA zones 8b-11 and tolerates light frost. In colder areas, bring it indoors for winter or grow in containers.

Q: How do I propagate Mangave 'Bad Hair Day'?
A: Mangave 'Bad Hair Day' produces offsets or "pups" around the base that can be carefully separated and replanted. Allow cut surfaces to callus for a few days before planting in well-draining soil.

Do not buy, I recommend looking for something else
Size: King (Pack of 2), Style: Medium, Configuration: Hometextile
I don't like the quality of those pillows. They don't have any support, super flat, it's like just using the pillow sheet without the pillow. I honestly don't get why this could even be a product. Amazon Basics brand is veryh nice but this one was a very bad one. I usually go with anything but this was worst than cheap airbnb pillows.

Great
Size: King (Pack of 2), Style: Medium, Configuration: Hometextile
The medium density support is exactly as advertised and provides more support and firmness. The pillow is taller because of the density so maybe not great for stomach sleepers but works well for back and side sleeping. I bought this because I tried the same pillow at my sister’s house and woke up without neck pain for the first time in forever. Honestly better than my $100 pillow.

These are firm pillows not medium as described.
Size: King (Pack of 2), Style: Medium, Configuration: Hometextile
These pillows are much too firm to be medium density as described. They are too stuffed full of filling. They barely give when my head is on them, so my neck ends up twisted. And they are ridiculously heavy. The filling is also uneven. I wish there was a zero stars option. Definitely returning them.

Medium Density is flat and underfilled, soft is better. Get medium if you hate life or for in-laws
Size: King (Pack of 2), Style: Medium, Configuration: Hometextile
I thought the medium density version would be a firmer version of the soft version but I was very wrong. The medium version is very flat and has no support. Medium density feels like a cheapo $2 black friday pillow that's only useful as a decoration. I suppose the medium density fill version does have its use, you can get this pillow for a guest bed. Perfect for the in laws/guests you dislike so they don't get too comfortable and overstay their welcome. The soft one is very filled and nice to sleep on. The soft one feels firmer than the medium version, probably due to the fact that its probably filled twice as much as the medium density. Would recommend to get the soft density fill version of this pillow.
