The UPPAbaby Mesa V3 in Evelyn sets a new standard in infant car seat safety with patented SmartSecure® technology that simplifies installation, minimizes errors, and gives parents confidence from the very first drive. Designed for maximum ease and security, every detail — from the auto-retracting LATCH to the magnetic buckle holder — is built to make life with a newborn a little easier.

Safety & Comfort

Advanced Side Impact Protection meets FMVSS 213A and 213B regulations, while a 4th anti-rebound handle position increases safety in rebound and rear-impact collisions. A large adjustable headrest with 25 positions ensures a proper fit as baby grows, and a no-rethread 5-point harness adjusts with the headrest in one step. A robust infant insert optimizes fit and body positioning from as little as 4 lbs, an intuitive magnetic buckle holder keeps straps out of the way while placing baby in the seat, and two crotch buckle positions allow a precise fit. An ergonomic carry handle with one-handed stroller release button, a deluxe full-coverage UPF 50+ canopy with mesh ventilation and peek-a-boo window, and removable washable seat fabric complete the carrier. Fabric is free from flame-retardant chemicals, the carrier weighs under 10 lbs, and the seat is FAA certified for aircraft use.

Installation

The SmartSecure® system with auto-retracting LATCH installs in seconds, and a red-to-green tightness indicator confirms a safe, accurate install. A four-position adjustable foot makes leveling easy, a built-in lock-off enables secure seatbelt installation, European routing allows a more secure install without the base, and level indicators on both sides of the base provide added confidence.

Stroller Compatibility & Specifications

Attaches directly to UPPAbaby Vista® and Cruz® strollers without adapters; adapters available for Minu® and Ridge® strollers (sold separately). Age range: approximately 0–1 years. Weight: 4–30 lbs, height up to 32” (whichever comes first). Car seat: 17”W × 25.8”L × 23”H, 9.9 lbs. Base: 14.5”W × 21.3”L × 10.3”H, 9 lbs. The bag is made of a very subtle pink, supple leather. It seems to be of good quality and I hope that over time, with wear, this turns out to be true. The style is sleek and uncomplicated, making it versatile enough to be worn on casual days as well as a night out. The top is secured with a smooth-running zipper that keeps everything safe yet easily accessible. The shoulder strap is adjustable to various lengths including one that is very long which is my preference. The handles are wrapped in matching leather and very comfortable. The only improvements I'd make to the bag is the addition of brass feet on the bottom and I'd make the zipper pocket on the outside back of the bag slightly wider so my phone would fit into it. Overall, I like it very much and have already recommended it to family and friends.

**{I am doing this review to share information that I greatly wish others would have shared in theirs.}** Comes in a plastic bag and wrapped nicely inside a dust bag with padding to ensure it doesn't crease. I appreciate how carefully it was packaged. Once opened the smell was not strong by any means and it does have that subtle leather scent.👃🏻 The handle portion is sturdy and incorporated into the entire purse so it will hold up well but I am concerned about the leather wrapping around the handle and worth it may unwrap over time.🎀 I loved this bag because It has the option to use as a crossbody which which toddlers you'd be surprised how much it's needed especially after using a purse without one.👛 The color is exactly as pictured and it's a warm tanned brown. 🤎It's darker in certain areas which definitely gives it that genuine leather look and feel. The material is soft and plyable without it creasing easily. I love the bend it has and it welds to my body without feeling like a box that bangs against my body as I walk.🪨 The interior is a silky maroon color❤️ and feels thick and nice quality. The pockets are spacious and offer excellent organization. You have the 2 open pockets for you easy to access items, one center large zipper pocket that seperates the bag, then one internal side zipper pocket for your delicate items. The outside zipper pocket doesn't go very deep but it does hold a cell phone, box of flossers, pepper spray, etc. 🔗The zippers are heavy duty and a nice shiny silver. They open and close smoothly and don't snag. There was a couple loose threads inside the bag when I received but they were not attached to anything. 🪡As you can tell by the images, I have loaded this bad boy up with all my necessities and it all fits. I do plan on downsizing to make it less full and bulky but it is helpful to know it will hold a lot. I appreciate the flat bottom on the bag so it sits upright and keeps things in their place. Once you have filled one of the pockets I will say it does lessen the ability to fill the other pockets due to its size and their isn't any give to keep stuffing it so be aware this isn't your EVERYTHING bag. This was my 1st, over $30, big girl purse purchase. I've never owned a leather purse and I've done countless research to find the perfect one to suite my needs plus saved money on the side specifically for this purchase and I kept returning to this one. 💸There are a lot of sellers of this particular bag and some don't have good reviews but this one did. 💯I did opt to use my own purse strap and that another reason I chose this color. I am 5'4" tall and 115lb to help with size reference. (That was the one thing I wish people would've shown in the reviews)📏 It's the perfect size for daily use. I am a month shy of 33yrs old and I absolutely love this purse. I feel like it goes with every style and the versatility of the strap makes it work for any adult. It is an adult bag and wouldn't recommend for a teen or young adult.🎁 I would most definitely gift this bag to family members and I cannot speak to the ease of cleaning as of yet. 🧽

I'm giving it 4 stars only because of the initial smell. I love this purse. It is indeed genuine leather. However, it smells horrible!!!!!!! I am letting it sit out and if the smell doesn't dissipate I will return it. The smell is so bad it makes the purse unusable. I really like this purse so I hope the smell improves.
