This is a beautiful starter clump of this super hearty air plant. Tillandsia Recurvifolia is an air plant that clumps easily with stiffer leaves and lighter green color, she has lots of trichomes that give her a slightly velvety-white appearance. This plant produces beautiful bight orange bloom spikes with white flowers.
Size: 2.5" tall and not currently blooming
| Clumping: This plant can grow into a beautiful clump over time! Seeing Tillandsias dry out or appear to "die" is normal after it has bloomed and begun birthing little babies around her base. Once you start to see the mother plant dry out, keep her attached to her pups. You can clip her flower off when it dries out, but don't separate the pups to make sure the plant is strong and hearty enough to grow into a big clump over the years. With care, this plant can become a specimen worthy of passing down to your grandchildren. |
