Graptopetalum pachyphyllum 'Bluebean' is low maintenance and low-growing soft succulent. Blue-green leaves can show shades of pinkish-red on the top when stressed correctly and mass in small rosettes at the tip of each of them.

How to care for Graptopetalum pachyphyllum 'Bluebean'

Sun/Location: Graptopetalum pachyphyllum 'Bluebean' requires 4-5 hours of sunlight to maintain its color. It can be placed outdoors to get full sunlight in the best spring and fall seasons. Shade outdoor succulents in summer or keep them indoors. Graptopetalum pachyphyllum 'Bluebeam' is not hardy and needs protection in winter.

Soil/Pot: Succulents enjoy living in porous, well-draining succulent soil and well-permeable plant pots. To create an adequate cactus mix, add perlite and gritty rocks to regular potting soil to improve drainage. 

Watering: It can’t sit in wet soil and can die quickly if overwatered. In summer, water regularly and let the succulent soil dry out between watering. This is the BEST SUNCREEN. It’s all we use-and I know, I know it’s expensive (standard is $30 a bottle) BUT it does go on sale quite often for like $20 ish which is what competitors run for and this is WAY cleaner. It’s made of a lot of organic ingredients and this one smells summery but they have unscented options too-that’s normally what I get! You can get spf 30 or 50 and they both work so well, never been burned wearing it. It’s a fine spray that goes on clear and dries quick-no white cast, no rubbing in. We live in a hot state that is sunny a lot of the year so we need a good sunscreen year round and this ticks all my boxes. This is the best product coola offers!! My entire family uses it.
