We combine wild-crafted Connecticut  jewel weed (Impatiens capensis) with calendula flowers (Calendula officinales) and neem leaf Azadiracta indica) to combat poison ivy and other plant rashes.

We suggest that as soon as you have encountered “P.I.” , you can wash with this soap.  Lather it really well, leave it on the skin for a few minutes, rinse off well.

If you garden or spend time in the woods, your first line of defense against P.I. is to know its rootlet-covered stem and leaf on sight.

The next thing to do is wash with this soap after your excursions. Don’t scrub but do let the lather remain on your skin for a few minutes before rinsing with water. If you know you got in the P.I., treat those places with our Jewelweed Juice, a natur l, wild-crafted spray-on tincture.

I personally find that really hot water stops the itch if I have been negligent in taking the precautions mentioned above.  (Hey, it happens!) And then I continue to clean with Jewelweed soap and apply the Jewelweed spray.  This treatment has taken care of my poison ivy indiscretions in 24 hours (compared to the usual 10 day hassle!)
