Philodendron selloum Care Guide
- Light: Prefers medium, indirect light. Can handle indirect light, but too much bright light will cause the leaves to become pale and bleached-looking. Too little light will cause the stems to become elongated as the plant stretches towards the light. Direct sun burns the leaves.
- Water: Water thoroughly until the water drains out the drip holes in the bottom of the pot, and then allow the top of the soil to dry out before watering again.
- Humidity: High
- Temperature: 75-80F
- Pruning: Prune as needed to remove brown or dead leaves and control growth.
- Feeding: Fertilize monthly in the spring and fall, every other week in the summer, and never in the winter. Use a balanced plant food diluted to 1/2 the recommended strength
- Propagation: Division
- Growth: Plant is often wider than it is tall
- Pests: Look out for aphids and mealy bugs. If the air is very dry, can also attract spider mites.
- Toxicity: Toxic to humans and pets

Arrived damaged

Unfortunately, very cheaply made. It arrived with one of the connecting tubes cracked horizontally. Possibly due to bad welding. It is quite a headache to assemble. It was delivered on time but returned for a refund.

Not a great experience but a fine product

not enough screws were included to make the wall. I was able to locate more screws to finish building-so I didn’t have to return the product- but it was a pain and I got lucky finding the pieces I needed

Useful, simple room divider

All the pieces were accounted for, and some even had extra pieces, maybe just in case they need changing. It was a bit like putting together a piece of IKEA furniture, though I went slower than usual so as not to make any mistakes. It wasn’t too hard to put together myself, and helps give my studio apt a feeling of space and privacy for my bed. I only wish it had a lovely Japanese design on it, but it does amazingly seem to match the wall color.
