Tillandsia cacticola Thin Leaf - a visually striking air plant native to the dry forests and rocky deserts of Peru. Its name reflects its natural habit of growing on cacti for support:
- Foliage: Forms a rosette of soft, narrow, densely packed, silvery-white or gray-green leaves that are covered in tiny, moisture-absorbing scales called trichomes. Leaves are pliable and curve gracefully outward, often taking on a slightly recurved shape as they mature
- Inflorescence: It produces a tall, showy spike with lilac-lavender bracts and delicate, cream-colored or violet-tinged tubular flowers that bloom over a long period
- Fragrance: While not overpowering like a garden flower, the blooms of Tillandsia cacticola are often described as having a clean, fresh, slightly sweet scent. It is most notable on warm mornings when the flowers are fully open.
Key features:
- In its native Peru, it is found growing vertically on the shaded sides of large columnar cacti. It rarely grows on rocks or trees, preferring the protection and drainage provided by cactus spines
- Growth Pattern: The species has a slow, deliberate growth pattern. It tends to be a single, large specimen for a long time before producing pups. After blooming, it is prolific in pupping and the pups usually emerge from the base after the mother plant has peaked. It has a very short stem, meaning the leaves grow from a compact base, giving it a tidy, structured appearance.
- Size: At maturity, the plant typically reaches 20-25cm (8-10") in diameter. The plant body itself usually stays under 6 inches tall. A key identifier is that the flower spike is often taller than the foliage, extending 10-12" above the plant.

Not bulky fit

Thinner than UA other cushioning run socks, but this fit is perfect and doesn't shift in my shoe. I wear a women's 9.5 and determined Large doesn't squeeze my foot like Medium size (too exact). Bonus... avaliable olors beyond black and Grey.

Love these socks!
The wife struggles with socks. She only like the Nike ones, then they discontinued them, so had to start the search again! Found these, they are expensive just like the Nike, but the size is true, they look great, they are super soft and stretchy. They are light weight and breathable and seem to wick away moisture. She loves these!

Great room divider

This is a room divider and would work great as one! I’m using it as a cover for my car port/garage so you can’t look in and see my messy garage as easily and for what I’m using it for it’s a little not quite as sturdy as I need it to but I’m sure it’s not meant to be used outside anyways so I don’t fault the product since I’m not using it as intended… with that said though…. It still covers my garage beautifully and really does exactly what a I need it to! I’m sure the wind may blow it over if it gets too crazy but I don’t see it breaking by any means. The frame is metal and drilled together using long screws. It’s very well built. The cloth for the panels is this waterproof type material that’s kind of like the gazebo roof feeling. So it’s easy to clean and it’s easy to wipe. You can put it straight or bend the panels and either way it still stands up. You don’t HAVE to bend it to make it stand or anything. You can literally use it straight across like I am in the pictures. Overall very happy with this product and it’s also very tall so it truly covers a lot (hides a lot lol). I’m 5’8 so you can see it’s taller than me by the pic I took

OK. Drag to setup. Needs more stable feet

I was glad to find these.
The benefits of having them in a recording setup is helping suppressing noise for a vocal booth.
It's a layer that surrounds the recording box. Nice!
(But away from audio hardware or DAW).
Here is the not so nice part:
The feet!
It's able to stand (as it needs to do this). But it cannot be bumped. If it does, it's coming down onto something.
I believe the feet units are not wide enough (or long enough). That makes for an easier tumble risk. So far, they haven't, but it's like being in the woods over leaves - it feels dangerous with every step! (That's actually true).
They are tall enough, wide enough, material OK. But the feet for the main assembly do not seem sturdy enough.
There are ways to help that.
I'm thinking a 2x4 to augment the base. Make them wider. It can be done. It was a drag to set these up, and I'm sure to modify them like i'd want them. But, they do come in at a much lower price that other similar dividers.
Consider all this because I've seen more solid dividers ( with padding) that would basically be the 1/2 cost of these. But i'd think they'd be easier to assemble, stand sturdier, and without that feeling of an impending fall (or fail).
