It produces offsets and flowers often, making it a great addition to any container or garden. In late winter to spring, it grows orange flowers on short stalk. All of the plants may be shipped bare root. Partial to Full sun.

- Cactus soil or Mixing in sand and perlite.
- Avoid letting water sit for too long in the soil. Do not overwater.
- Prefers warm weather from 70ºF (21ºC) to 80ºF (27ºC), but can survive temperature as low as 40ºF (4.5ºC).
- Feed with a cactus fertilizer in the summer only (Aloes go dormant in the winter).

USDA Zone 9b: to -3.8 °C (25 °F)
USDA Zone 10a: to -1.1 °C (30 °F)
USDA Zone 10b: to 1.7 °C (35 °F)

Good option when replacing plastic cutting boards
If you're looking to replace plastic cutting boards, this is a nice option. The backs of the cutting boards are shaped to double as serving trays, a nice feature. These have been under heavy use, and are wearing well. I only gave 4 stars because the slots in the rack these stand in was too tight a fit, which I corrected with a little sanding in the slots.
