A Lavandula stoechas, commonly called butterfly lavender, French lavender, or Spanish lavender, New Madrid Rose is native to Spain, Portugal, and Italy. It is a compact plant with a tight, upright, mounding habit and medium growth rate. This lavender is perfect for the bed or border front and makes an excellent specimen or "thriller" in a container garden. It is especially well-suited to waterwise gardens.
