Philodendron are known to be relatively easy to care for and are fairly adaptable to most household conditions, but extra care should be taken to ensure rarer species flourish. Philodendron plants will do best when planted in standard aroid mixes that maintain good drainage while retaining some moisture. Lighting should be bright, but not direct as too much sun or harsh lighting will burn the plant. Like other Philodendron species, increased humidity levels, warmer temperatures, quality grow medium and fertilizer during grow season will keep your Philodendron ROF happy.
