A variegated cultivar of Philodendron domesticum — the Spadeleaf Philodendron, native to the Caribbean and South America — selected for its warm-toned variegation expression. New leaves emerge in a vivid orange-yellow before maturing to lime green with subtle cream variegation, a color sequence that gives the cultivar its name. A vigorous, easy-to-grow climbing philodendron with arrow-shaped leaves that develop wavy margins — more adaptable than many variegated aroids and well suited to a range of indoor conditions.

Light: Bright indirect light supports the most vivid color expression and most vigorous growth; variegation fades under dim conditions. Avoid direct harsh sun which scorches the lighter sectors.

Soil: Chunky, well-draining aroid mix of orchid bark, perlite, and coco coir; excellent drainage essential. Never waterlogged.

Temperature/Humidity: Warm temperatures between 65-85°F; humidity of 60-70% supports the best leaf quality. Tolerates average household humidity better than most variegated aroids.

Watering: Allow the top 1-2" of medium to dry between waterings; water thoroughly and drain completely. Never waterlog — highly variegated leaves are particularly sensitive to root stress.

Fertilizer: Feed with a balanced liquid fertilizer every 4 weeks during active growth; consistent feeding supports vigorous growth across the reduced-chlorophyll sectors. Reduce in winter.
