Create a purposeful healing garden with this Medicinal Herb Seeds – 8-Variety Herbalist Bundle, designed for gardeners who want to cultivate traditional apothecary plants from seed. This advanced collection includes perennial and biennial herbs prized for their roles in herbal medicine, ideal for crafting natural infusions, salves, and extracts right from your own backyard.

A Curated Collection for the Experienced Herbal Gardener:
This set includes eight heirloom varieties selected for vigor, diversity, and medicinal value. Together, they form the foundation of a lasting, resilient herb garden that matures beautifully over time. Perfect for homesteaders, herbalists, and serious gardeners seeking depth beyond standard starter mixes.

Always consult a qualified medical professional regarding your health history and current medications before using any medicinal herb.

Note: Some species in this bundle are vigorous spreaders and may become invasive if not properly managed. We recommend growing them in containers, raised beds, and using other containment strategies to prevent unwanted spread.
  • Burdock (Arctium lappa) – This biennial plant can be grown as both an herb or a vegetable for its deep taproot. It is traditionally used to support liver health, detoxification, and skin health.
  • Mugwort (Artemisia vulgaris) – Mugwort is a perennial herb that survives even in drought conditions. It has been traditionally used as a medicinal herb to make tincture, extract, nerve tonic, herbal tea, powder, and essential oil, especially in Chinese Traditional Medicine
  • Self-Heal (Prunella vulgaris) – This hardy perennial herb, also known as All-Heal, Heal-All, and Woundwort, is a low-growing plant that makes a good groundcover, with purple blooms that delight pollinators. Self-heal is best known for its traditional uses in skin and wound support.
  • St. John's Wort (Hypericum perforatum) –  This cheery midsummer bloomer produces an abundance of bright yellow flowers. Used in herbalism for centuries, St. John’s Wort’s medicinal properties are most sought after for its potential mood-lifting benefits.
  • Valerian (Valeriana officinalis) – A tall perennial herb with fragrant, pale pink to white blooms. Valerian root has been used traditionally to promote relaxation and support restful sleep.
  • Wormwood (Artemisia absinthium) – Known for its silvery-green, aromatic foliage, Wormwood is a hardy, drought-tolerant herb. It has a long history in digestive tonics and is famously associated with absinthe. Take care when planting as it can be aggressive in the garden.
  • Common Plantain (Plantago major) – A hardy perennial known for thriving in a wide range of conditions. Traditionally used in herbal remedies for skin support, minor wounds, and soothing preparations.
  • Spotted Joe Pye Weed (Eutrochium maculatum) – A tall native perennial with striking pink-purple flower clusters that attract pollinators. Traditionally used in herbal practices, it has been associated with supporting wellness and was historically valued by Indigenous peoples.

Why Gardeners Choose the Herbalist Bundle:

  • Eight heirloom medicinal herbs for teas, tinctures, and salves
  • Long-lived perennials and biennials for sustainable, self-reliant gardens
  • Traditional varieties valued for herbal wellness and resilience
  • Suited for USDA Zones 3–9; ideal for apothecary, cottage, and permaculture gardens
  • A thoughtful upgrade from beginner herb kits—crafted for serious growers

How to Grow:
Start seeds indoors 6–10 weeks before your last frost or direct-sow outdoors after frost risk passes. Sow shallowly (about 1/8 inch) in moist, well-drained soil. Expect varied germination times of 14–30 days; some species benefit from 2–4 weeks of cold stratification in the refrigerator. Provide full sun and patience—many herbs take a full season to establish and reach maturity in their second year. Manage spreading varieties like mugwort or wormwood in containers or by deadheading.

Harvest & Use:
Harvest leaves once plants are well established, typically mid to late summer. Roots and flowers are best collected in the second year for biennials and slower-growing perennials. Dry, infuse, or blend your harvests to create traditional teas, tinctures, and salves for home herbal use.

Strong ball for Strong chewer!
Perfect Size. This foster pitbull likes to tear stuff up, this ball has not ended up in the garbage like so many others have.

Good Toy Reward for Training
Size: Medium, Size: Medium
A great non-food reward for dog training and play! It’s the perfect size for my German Shepherd and the tie makes it easy to carry and play tug. It’s also been very durable for her sharp teeth!

Didn’t last long
Size: Medium, Size: Medium
One of my puppies chewed the rope apart within an hour. They still have one of the balls and play with it often.

Good for playing tug of war, but better with a knotted handle
Size: Medium, Size: Medium
Strong and durable rope ball. I use it to play tug with my Doberman Pinscher -- at least until she decides that she's taking it, then she does!! The size is good, list of price is a good value for two, and my dog has a lot of fun with it. As you can see in the picture, there was not a knotted handle at the end. I was never a boy scout and don't know my knots and so anything I try to tie comes apart when we start playing. It would be nice if it came as it looked in the listing: with a knotted loop at the end.

Pricey for quality but my dogs love them!
Size: Medium, Size: Medium
This toy is a bit on the pricey side for what it is, and no matter how many times I try to tie it, I just cannot get it to stay secured. I really like the idea behind it, but the overall quality feels just okay rather than amazing. The ball itself is very lightweight and almost feels more like a dense foam than traditional rubber, which initially threw me off. That said, it has actually been holding up well with regular use, which is a pleasant surprise. Most importantly, my puppies absolutely love these. The biggest win for me is that it comes as a two pack, which means I can play with both dogs at the same time without anyone feeling left out. At the end of the day, my girls are happy, and that makes me happy too.
