It is suitable for growing in both a greenhouse or outdoors, even in a poor British summer, and will grow to about 2 metres high. As the fruits do not all set at once, Moneymaker has a longer harvest period than many other varieties. A great variety to grow in pots or containers when space is limited, up against a wall or garage.
| When to Sow | Sow indoors February to April, delay sowing for outdoor crops until late March /April. |
| Where to Sow | Tomatoes prefer fertile well drained soil. Moneymaker tomatoes can be grown either in a greenhouse or outside, in a sunny sheltered position e.g. up against a wall or garage, either in a bed, large pot/container or in grow bags. |
| Sow seeds 0.5cm (1/4in) deep, in modules or trays filled with moist compost and place in a warm light position such as a south facing windowsill or where temperature is 18–21°C (65 to 70°F). | |
| What to do Next | When the seedlings are about 15cm (6in) high, transplant to their final growing positions, planting 40cm (16in) apart if in a bed or 2 to 3 plants per grow bag/container. If the plants are to be grown outdoors they should be hardened of for 7 to 10 days, after the date of the last frost, prior to transplanting. |
| Erect support as soon as possible, either with canes or metal spiral supports at least 2m (6.5ft) tall. Tie in the main stem to the support as it grows. | |
| Water well to keep the compost evenly and consistently moist and keep weed free. | |
| Remove, 'pinch out', side shoots which appear between the leaf and main stem and once 5 to 6 trusses have set remove the growing tip to ensure the plant focuses its energy on ensuring the remaining fruits mature and ripen. | |
| When the first fruits start to form, feed with a liquid fertiliser (high in potash) and every 2 to 3 weeks up until the end of August. | |
| Harvest | July to October. |
| Handy Tips | Try potting up side shoots as soon as they are removed, they should develop roots easily and will give you some additional plants. |
| Pick fruits before first frosts. If tomatoes are still green, pick and leave on a warm windowsill for them to ripen. | |
| Companion Planting | Good companions: Basil, chives, garlic, marigolds, nasturtium, parsley. |
| Bad Companions: Brassicas, sweetcorn, potato and fennel. | |

| Serving Suggestion | Tomatoes are extremely versatile , eaten both cooked and raw. They can be sliced in a sandwich, eaten whole in a salad, chopped and cooked in various sauces or if a bigger variety, they can be stuffed and baked. The unripened green fruits can also be used in a tomato chutney. |

Almost Perfect
If you’ve ever seen these things, the foldable ones are just as good as the standard ones. I just wish when you folded it up there was a way to lock it into that position. When you unfold it to play, you lock it into place with the orange locking slide so it doesn’t fold up on you. But when you’re done playing and fold it up, there’s no way to lock it into that position, it can keep unfolding if you carry it around with you, plus the orange locking slide keeps sliding up and down. It’s not a huge deal, but they could’ve made it better.

Labs love this!!!

Our Lab LOVES everything about this thing! Recommend getting extra durable balls as the 1 included fell apart in 1 hour. I have a very energetic Lab retriever that we have to force to stop playing ball so he does not overheat. That & the force with which you can throw this ball did not help keeping it from splitting it in 2 in less than 1 hour.
This is worth the money for the extra throwing power & distance but do invest in the ULTRA strong ball for dogs like retrievers! Also, be sure to order the correct SIZE OF BALL, specific to each different size of throwing wand.
My fav thing about this item is #1 the joy my dog gets from the new challenge of racing to catch longer throws, & #2 I don't have to get my hands covered in dog slobber!!
He has gotten to where he can almost put it in the cup himself so I won't waste time throwing the ball again!

Must-Have for Active Dogs!

The Chuckit Sport 26L Dog Ball Launcher has been a game-changer for my large dog! My 80-pound Labrador loves to play fetch, and this launcher makes it so much easier and more enjoyable for both of us.
The 26” length gives me the leverage to throw the ball much farther than I could by hand, which really helps burn off my dog’s energy. The included large ball (3”) is the perfect size for big dogs, and I appreciate that it’s made from durable rubber, so it withstands a lot of chewing and rough play.
What I really love is that the launcher is so lightweight and easy to use. I can play fetch with my dog for extended periods without my arm getting tired. The ergonomic handle also provides a comfortable grip, which is a nice touch.
If you have a large, active dog, the Chuckit Sport 26L is a must-have. It’s well-made, durable, and makes fetch more fun for both you and your dog. Highly recommend!
