I started taking this Metamucil Sugar-Free 4-in-1 Psyllium Fiber mainly because I deal with diarrhea more than constipation (opposite of what it's usually advertised for). It's gentle, mixes okay in water (orange flavor is tolerable, not too sweet since it's sugar-free), and I take 2 teaspoons daily. Even better bonus: after a few months of consistent use, my LDL cholesterol dropped from 110 to 58! That's a huge win for heart health—I wasn't expecting that, but the psyllium fiber really does trap cholesterol and help lower it (backed by studies and Metamucil's own claims).
