Despite the name, this plant isn't actually a palm at all—it’s a succulent relative of the Agave, and it’s built for the easy life. With its wild "bad hair day" leaves and its sturdy, bulbous trunk, it’s a living piece of funky sculpture that’s nearly impossible to kill. The Ponytail Palm is the ultimate "personality" plant. It starts with a thick, woody base (called a caudex) that looks like an elephant’s foot, then erupts into a fountain of long, thin, curling green leaves. It’s the perfect blend of desert-tough and jungle-lush.

The keys are not sensitive enough and you can easily misspell words if you don’t click a key hard enough. The trackpad shortcuts are cool but inconvenient since you can turn off the shortcuts. You can turn off the trackpad but that just doesn’t work for me.
