Set of 2 18-quart boxes

The perfect nutrient-rich soil for all indoor and outdoor plants—our award-winning Potting Mix, now in sustainable packaging! Each box contains 18 Quarts of potting mix; this set contains 2 boxes.

The perfect soil for all indoor and outdoor plants

Good Dirt Potting Mix is a proprietary blend that starts with Veriflora® Certified Canadian Peat Moss harvested from responsibly managed peatlands. Next, we blend in Bogbits®, a byproduct of sustainably harvested peat moss, for optimum porosity. This combination of Peat and BogBits provides just the right balance of air and water retention, making your plant’s roots dance with joy.

  • 100% soilless, won’t compact
  • No harsh chemicals
  • Safe for all pets and children

Experience bigger blooms, healthier roots, and faster growth with this premium mix that releases essential nutrients immediately

Grow Clean with Good Dirt

Our award-winning Potting Mix provides the ideal porosity — ensuring air, nutrients, and water flow to the roots. BogBits do not break down so that Good Dirt can be reused season after season without losing the integrity and texture of the soil.

  • No pine bark that gets mushy
  • No manure or animal byproducts

Simply put, Good Dirt® Potting mix is clean dirt. Safe for the entire family and not harmful to the environment. Dig with us… naturally!

Why a box?

The box defines our move towards plant-based packaging and elimination of virgin plastic in our products. Our Dirt Box and the inside liner are made from post-consumer waste materials that normally would end up in the landfills. We are committed to reduce plastic to a minimum in all Good Dirt products.

DIRT IN A BOX® inner lining is a sealable poly bag liner made of 100% recycled content instead of virgin plastic.

To guarantee the integrity of the box until it is ready to be recycled or composted, a liner is necessary to contain the natural moisture of the soil within the box. Our post-consumer waste poly plastic is made from waste materials that have been produced and discarded. We chose 100% recycled post-consumer plastic over virgin plastic, plant-based plastic or biodegradable plastic. The inner liner bags are recyclable at local grocery store that accepts plastic bags.

Durable, Fun, Useful!
Size: 1.8in for Puppy Dogs
This treat dispenser is so great! For one thing, it's sturdy and will last forever. It will get lost before it wears out. This is my second order because I can't find the first one . . . so I bought this pack of two. In one, I put peanut butter. In the second one, I put toothpaste, just a squirt for each opening. My dog LOVES to chew on this even after she has consumed 98% of whatever I put in there. In short, it occupies her attention, which is a blessing! It's both a treat and a toy. It also bounces well and can be thrown as a ball. It will LAST far longer than any ofher other balls, too. My dog has a tiny mouth and larger balls are too big or too hard for her. If I could give it more stars, I would!

DURABLE
Size: 2.8in for Small & Medium Dogs
My dog loves these balls almost as much as she loves tennis balls, which she tears up within a day. These two balls have lasted over a week with no signs of wear. I was unsure when I ordered them but they do bounce, not quite like a tennis ball but enough to keep my dog's attention. When using toothpaste in these balls I had to put it deep into the openings or she just licks it off of the surface and when its that deep, it doesn't squeeze out like I think it should. It just stays in the crevasses and gets old and hard. As a ball it's great, as a toothpaste delivery system it's not so great.

Perfect For Sophia!
Size: 1.8in for Puppy Dogs, Size: 1.8in for Puppy Dogs
These little balls are the perfect size for Sophia who is a 7 lb Yorkie with a teeny tiny mouth. The slots in the balls make them very easy for her little teeth to grab hold of and carry. The quality of the rubber is excellent, strong and durable. They're holding up great so far! She loves them and so does her Mama! 5 stars!

Horrible, don't buy
Size: 1.8in for Puppy Dogs
I wanted to love these. They had so much potential. It's a good size. It seems like a good shape. But ... 1) first red flag should have been the packaging. It looked like it was a dollar store item that had beenblost on the shelves for years. 2) the rubber is super flexible. I was expecting it to be sturdier. I can flatten the ball without lich force. Maybe that doesn't matter. Naybe flexible is good. But I never got a chance to test out it's durability against a pup because... 3) it smelled. I expected it to smell like rubber, like most rubber toys. Rubber smell is okay. Usually rubber smell goes away. But, this was NOT a rubber smell. It smells like peppermint or something similar. It's like someone sprayed essential oils when mixing the rubber and now the smell will not leave. I soaked it in dawn soap half the day and overnight. I rubbed. I scrubbed. The smell actually gets worst the more you scrub it!!! It's like a scented marker or scented eraser, but you do NOT want the scent in a dog toy! My dog cannot smell the food in it because the smell of the weird mint-like scent is so overpowering. He saw it had food, and wanted it, but every time he started sniffing wildly, he would recoil. Whoever thought it was a good idea to scent this was WRONG. Mint in the form of an essential oil is extremely poisonous to dogs!! So, why they would put a mint-loke scent ijto the dog's rubber treat toy is beyond me. I would return this if I hadn't throw out the package immediately. I considered pulling the package out of the trash once i realized the scent issue but other trash had already been dumped into the trash can over it and i didn't want to dig through trash. The ball is still soaking in soap. I scrubbed again this morning. I let obe dry out. No luck. It actually seems to get worst the more you scrub, like it really is embedded in the rubber itself. Yuck!!!
