Charlotte produces highly perfumed berries, with woods and musk aromas, very low acidity and a very sweet taste. Plants are vigorous and need little fertilization. Since it was introduced exclusively, Charlotte showed a better tolerance to cold, mites and powdery mildew compared to Seascape. A good choice for protected cultivation.

Growth and vegetation:
Large and vegetative foliage with medium runnering. Good tolerance to powdery mildew and spider mites. Highly adapted to Canadian winters.
Harvest and yield:
Yield comparable to Albion in the first year but superior on a second year. Second flush from mini-tray is early and abundant. Will perform better under low fertilization regimes.
Berries:
Average fruit size from 17 to 20 gr. Blood red typical fruit color. Unique wild strawberry aroma developed by a low acidity content.
