The COSMO is an i-Size baby car seat, i.e. a child seat for newborns up to the age of around 15 months, which complies with the latest European safety standards for car seats. In contrast to the standard (ECE R44/04), the i-Size standard refers to the size of the child and no longer to the weight.
The i-Size standard requires a mandatory test of side impact protection . This means the child's head and neck are better protected because the head cannot be thrown around as violently.
