It produces most intense blue flowers - so blue in fact that in Asia the flowers are used to produce blue dyes. In case anyone is wondering, the genus of this plant, "Clitoria" was considered somewhat inappropriate in Victorian times, but due to the obvious resemblance, the name has scientific name has survived over the years!!

Germination Guide

• Sow late winter to spring
• Soak seeds for 24 hours before sowing
• Sow in trays or pots of moist, well-draining compost
• Lightly cover seeds with a few mm of compost
• Keep tray at 20-25C using a propagator or heat mat as required
• Ensure does not dry out
• Germination takes 15-25C
• Pot on once large enough to handle
