These plants are often grouped with Snakes and ZZ Plants as the most low-light tolerant of commonly found houseplants, and they should avoid direct sun.

The 'Osaka' cultivar is characterized by heavy white variegation and speckling. It has a shorter petiole than most aglaonemas, giving it a very tight, bushy look.
