One study proved they have even more bacteria than public restrooms. Our shopping cart cover provides a 360 degree germ barrier to keep your baby’s hands, body, and mouth from touching that dirty cart so she doesn’t contract any nasty bacteria or viruses, and the same goes for you.

But if it’s really going to do its job – protecting you and your baby from other people’s germs – you have to keep it clean. We recommend washing your shopping cart cover in a washing machine on a gentle cycle in cold water. You can wash the hammock and cart cover with other items made of similar fabrics – the hammock is 97% cotton and 3% spandex and the cart cover is 100% polyester – or you can wash them alone if you’re worried about the plastic clips or velcro snagging other baby clothes, towels, or blankets. Shopping cart covers can go in the dryer on a low heat setting, but lay hammocks flat to dry. Make sure both are completely dry before storing or using them. Following these simple washing and drying techniques will help maintain the velvety soft fabric and lifespan of your hammock and cart cover.

I have a very energetic Lab retriever that we have to force to stop playing ball so he does not overheat. That & the force with which you can throw this ball did not help keeping it from splitting it in 2 in less than 1 hour. This is worth the money for the extra throwing power & distance but do invest in the ULTRA strong ball for dogs like retrievers! Also, be sure to order the correct SIZE OF BALL, specific to each different size of throwing wand. My fav thing about this item is #1 the joy my dog gets from the new challenge of racing to catch longer throws, & #2 I don't have to get my hands covered in dog slobber!! He has gotten to where he can almost put it in the cup himself so I won't waste time throwing the ball again! Man, I love that dog!!! ❤️

I recommend using the KONG Extreme Dog Toy

Helpful for throwing as much as my dog wants to fetch. I actually had to get a cortisone injection in my shoulder a few months after getting my dog - never had a dog with this much energy before! The Chuckit really helps. Downside: The ball that comes with it is larger than a tennis ball, so may be too much for smaller doge. I can't imagine my sister-in-law's french bulldog carrying it! Also, in our house it gets destroyed within minutes, as my dog is a strong chewer. For this situation, I recommend using the KONG Extreme Dog Toy, Black, size Large. This is shaped sort of like a snowman, which means it bounces unpredictably at times. My dog eventually chews the "head" off of this toy, but the remaining 2/3 still fits in the Chuckit (and is actually easier to throw with the "head" missing!). One caveat: the KONG is significantly heavier than the ball included with the Chuckit, so be aware of that... Also, we ordered our first Chickit in October 2015, then needed to replace it in May of 2017, as it broke. I think the plastic became brittle over that time, as we left it out in the sun & rain in Florida. Since it is cheap to replace, that's not a big deal. (We ordered three Kong toys over that same period of time!) To summarize, it's a very helpful tool to get the ball further, faster, with less strain, than without it. Knowing there are alternatives to the included ball for heavy chewers makes it worthwhile.
