Outrider Herbicide

Outrider Herbicide is a systemic pre-emergent and post-emergent herbicide which contains the active ingredient Sulfosulfuron and is used to control a variety of broadleaf weeds and grasses in non-crop lands and areas for industrial bare ground management.

Outrider Herbicide by Monsanto is a water-dispersible granule (WDG) used for selective pre-emergent and post-emergent control of grassy and broadleaf weeds in non-crop lands and sites that might require bare ground vegetation management, such as utility rights-of-way, airports, roadsides, fence rows, and more. Outrider is a systemic herbicide, meaning that it works by absorbing into the plants through the plant's roots and foliage. This herbicide offers broad-spectrum control of perennial grasses like Tall Fescue, Bermudagrass, Johnsongrass, and more.

Outrider Herbicide is Effective:

Over the years, Outrider has become the herbicide of choice for controlling Johnsongrass, sedges, and downy brome that infest miles of roadside and acres of pastures, hayfields and rangelands.

Outrider Herbicide is Flexible:

Other non-crop areas of use include dry ditches, ditch banks, industrial sites and Crop Reserve Program (CRP) acres planted to native grasses and select hardwoods and conifer species. Effective over a wide window of application, Outrider® can be applied after seed set to protect natural wildflowers sites.

Outrider Herbicide Product Use:

Outrider has high unit activity, low use rates, systemic activity and post emergent method of application, which means less herbicide is needed to get the job done.

Approximate use rate: 0.75 - 2 ounces per acre

See label for specific use rates.

Reliable Spray for Hard-to-Reach Spots and Reapplication
Size: 5.5 Ounce (Pack of 1)
I picked up this spray specifically to cover the spots I can’t reach with lotion (my back), and it’s been super handy. The spray applies evenly, and while it has a familiar sunscreen scent, it fades quickly. I’ve worked it into my routine for touch-ups, especially on homeward-bound afternoon bike commutes. I keep the can in my bike bag and give everything a quick respray before heading home. It holds up well during activity and gives me solid protection for about two hours, after which I reapply. One thing to note: it does leave a bit of a shiny finish, which is fine for arms and legs, but I skip it on my face during the day because I don’t love the reflective look. That said, if it’s late or I’m not worried about how shiny my face is, it does the job. The SPF 100 is a plus for extended sun exposure, and I like knowing that I’ve got extra coverage when I need it.

Protected my kids through 7 hours of sun and water—no burns at all!
Size: 5.5 Ounce (Pack of 1)
This sunscreen is the real deal. We spent a full day, about 6 to 7 hours, at a water park under the blazing sun. My kids were running around nonstop, in and out of the water, and we reapplied every 30-45 minutes. Not a single sunburn. Their skin looked exactly the same by the end of the day, no redness, no irritation. Meanwhile, I skipped sunscreen and got absolutely fried. Lesson learned. Goes on smoothly, doesn’t leave a sticky residue, and held up amazingly even with water play. I’ll be buying this on repeat all summer.

Smells great. Tough to remove.
Size: 5.5 Ounce (Pack of 1)
The smell is great and very nostalgic, but it has a sticky/tacky feel on the skin. It's hard to get off even with a lot of scrubbing with soap and hot water. They weren't joking that it stays on through water and sweat.
