Description:
Delmarva is a cool-season grass seed blend that grows exceptionally well in hot environments. With roots that can grow up to 4 feet deep and a waxy leaf coating (like the skin on an apple), Black Beauty Delmarva preserves moisture and limits evaporation. It also withstands heavy traffic and naturally resists insects and diseases. This seed will grow a naturally dark green lawn with high-quality tall fescue that outperforms Kentucky-31 Tall Fescue.
How much seed to use?
- 3 lb Bag: Covers up to 1,500 sq ft for overseeding and up to 750 sq ft for new lawns
- 7 lb Bag: Covers up to 2,150 sq ft for overseeding and up to 1,075 sq ft for new lawns
Sunlight Requirements: 5+ hours of sunlight per day - perfect for full sun to partial shade with 4 – 8 hours of sun.
Traffic Tolerance: Designed to withstand moderate traffic
Germination Time: 10 - 20 days
