Maranta Leuconeura Fascinator, this distinctive plant has stunning green leaves with red veins and pink undersides. It earned its name because of the way the leaves fold together at night, like hands closed in prayer. Super easy to care for (an ideal beginners plant!) Prayer Plants love a little TLC and will always benefit from regular misting using warm water and soil kept moist. 

Light: a place with bright but indirect light is ideal. Avoid south facing spots with too much intense direct sunlight, unless you diffuse the light with a sheer curtain. 

Watering: regular watering during the summer months and when soil feels dry, less frequent during winter months.

Humidity: like other Prayer Plants this plant enjoys high humidity, but overly wet soil can quickly lead to root rot. 

Ideal location: bathrooms, kitchens, living rooms, bedrooms and studies

Temperature: ideally above 15°C, this plant also enjoys a humid environment but doesn't need one to thrive.

Toxicity: this plant is safe around pets

Origin : native to tropical Central and South America

The plant is supplied  in nursery plastic  pot ϕ-12cm x h-10cm (Please note that decorative pot is not included)

I really love Nedra Glover Tawwab's work. I started with "Set Boundaries, Find Peace" and that opened the gateway to a broader and more helpful healing journey for me. This book, "Drama Fee" was just an evolutionary step in her series and a more in depth dealing with family relationships. The different perspectives for each chapter on how the concept can be applied was/is helpful as it often feels like books of this nature are only telling the black or white way to focus on a relationship.
