N'Joy Pothos (Epipremnum aureum 'N'Joy')
N'Joy Pothos is a stunning cultivar of the classic pothos, prized for its crisp, white-and-green variegated foliage. Its compact growth habit and smaller leaves give it a refined, ornamental look that sets it apart from other pothos varieties. Like its golden cousin, N'Joy is extremely easy to care for and thrives in a wide range of indoor environments. Though primarily grown as a houseplant, it can also be cultivated outdoors year-round in tropical climates.

Key Characteristics

  • Elegant White Variegation
N'Joy features highly variegated leaves with deep green centers and creamy white margins. The distinct coloring makes it ideal for brightening darker corners or adding contrast in mixed container plantings. High light intensifies the variegation, while lower light levels tend to increase the green.

  • Compact, Controlled Growth
Unlike more vigorous pothos types, N'Joy tends to grow more slowly and with tighter internodes, making it easier to manage as a tabletop or shelf plant. It can still trail beautifully or climb a support, but with less aggressive spread-perfect for small spaces or design-focused displays.

  • Air-Purifying and Low Maintenance
Like other pothos varieties, N'Joy has been shown to help remove indoor air pollutants such as formaldehyde and benzene. It thrives on neglect, needing only occasional watering and tolerating a variety of lighting conditions, although bright indirect light is best for maintaining variegation.

  • Ideal for Indoor Gardening and Tropical Landscapes
In USDA Zones 10-12, N'Joy can be planted outdoors in shaded beds or as a groundcover. Indoors, it thrives in hanging baskets, vertical wall planters, and as part of living walls. It's a great candidate for apartment gardens, office spaces, or tropical-inspired garden rooms.

  • Toxic if Ingested
As with all pothos, N'Joy is toxic to pets and humans if consumed due to calcium oxalate crystals. Exercise caution in homes with curious pets or small children.

Beautifully written and good quality book
Format: Paperback, Format: Paperback
I received the book earlier than the estimated date. I love this poem collection of Ilya Kaminsky. Although it describes the social unrest in an unknown place (and unfamiliar to me), his poems are beautifully written with strong images and music. THe paper quality and the book are so new and lovely. I couldn't think that it is used (as it stated).

Life: A challenge in many ways in all cultures
Format: Kindle
I heard Ilya Kaminsky read his poems at Chautauqua this past summer. Over powering and dynamic to hear his voice speak his words... about his life experiences need to be remembered. A must read and if possible with the audio.

A brilliant poetic narrative whose lines leap off the pages which turn themselves.
Format: Paperback
When you get to the end, you wonder how Kaminsky worked his wondrous magic, how it's possible to think and write poetry like that. The poem is a story about Vasenka, a mythical town somewhere in the Ukraine, occupied by the Soviet army during an unspecified period of time. It is an allegory of the cruelty of occupation, the futility of the resistance of a few, and the deafness of the silent majority, a deafness that courageously resists the occupation and a deafness that hardens the heart and ignores the evil surrounding them. It could have happened anywhere anytime. The occupiers could have been Nazis, Ottoman Turks, American, English, or Spanish. The poetry is piercingly sharp, visionary, breathless and the metaphors are the likes of which you've never heard before, lines like “the sound we do not hear lifts the gulls off the water,” “Our hearing doesn't weaken, but something silent in us strengthens,” or “In these avenues, deafness is our only barricade.” This is drop-dead beautiful poetry.

Haunting Humanity lurks in war’s reactions.
Format: Kindle
The poem moves efficiently through the myriad experiences that result from deadly conflict with a nameless and menacing enemy. I kept thinking I was reading a rendering of Kafka with the haunting glimpses of the horror of permanent victim hood. Now I must study the Deaf Republic and hope for understanding.

Beautifully written.
Format: Paperback
I read this book in one sitting and discovered that tears are included with purchase. Story is broken up into acts, like a play, and is told completely in verse. Sign language images accompany several of the poems.
