Euphorbia lactea 'Cristata'
Common Name: Brain Cactus

Euphorbia lactea 'Cristata', often nicknamed the Brain Cactus, is a surreal, sculptural succulent that forms ruffled, fan-shaped crests resembling coral or brain tissue. Its wavy, ridged edges grow in wild, undulating patterns—each one unique—making this plant a favorite among collectors of strange and stunning specimens.

Usually grafted onto a strong rootstock like Euphorbia neriifolia for stability, this crested form is low-maintenance and thrives on minimal water and bright, indirect light. Some specimens also display gorgeous variegation with shades of green, white, pink, or purple depending on light and stress levels.

☀ Light Requirements
Prefers bright, indirect sunlight or filtered light. Too much direct sun can scorch the crest, especially on variegated specimens. Indoors, a south- or east-facing window is ideal.

💧 Watering Needs
Water sparingly—only when the soil is completely dry. Like all Euphorbias, this plant is extremely drought-tolerant and prone to rot if overwatered. Reduce watering in winter.

🌡 Temperature Tolerance
Keep above 50°F. Not frost-tolerant. Protect from cold drafts and wet conditions. For winter shipping, we recommend adding a [Heat Pack].

⚠ Note:
This plant produces a milky latex sap when damaged, which can irritate skin and is toxic if ingested. Handle with care and keep out of reach of children and pets.

✨ Special Features
Crested Growth – Dramatic coral-like fans with incredible texture
Colorful Stress Response – Blushes pink or purple in strong light or dry conditions
Grafted Form – Most specimens are grafted for strength and long-term vigor

Other Common Names:
Coral Cactus, Brain Cactus, Frankenstein Cactus (misnomer), Crested Euphorbia

This cactus will ship bare root and will be ready to place directly in a well draining soil mix like our Custom Cactus Mix.

Photos in the listings unless otherwise specified are representative of the plant that will be sent to you.
However, Plants grow differently and each plant may vary slightly in shape, size, growth pattern, etc.
Of course, if you receive a plant that you are dissatisfied with please reach out to us. We want to make it right!

If temperatures near you are below 45℉ we highly recommend adding a Heat Pack to your order.
If temperatures where you live will be much lower than 20℉ even heat packs may not work. You may consider waiting until things warm up a bit. We know you love your plants just like we do and we wouldn't want any of them to freeze.

Great for potty training
Size: 3T-4T, Unit Count: 20
We really like these pull ups and they have worked well for us during potty training. They are easy to pull on and off, which is great for toddlers who are learning to be more independent. They fit well and do a good job containing messes without leaking. I also like that they feel comfortable and not too bulky, so my child can move around easily. Overall, these have been a reliable option for us and something we continue to use during this stage.

Preferred by daycare teachers!
Size: 4T-5T, Unit Count: 99
Preferred by daycares because they open and close on the sides and kids can learn to pull on and take on on their own

Nice
Size: 3T-4T, Unit Count: 112
Good pull ups, it could get a little linty but it fits perfectly on my toddler. It stretches which I love. I do love how I could strap and unstrap the sides of the pull up. The designs on the pull up are cute. It holds a lot of pee and soaks it up very well. It’s comfortable on my toddler and the pee and poop doesn’t leak out of it. It is worth the money.

The Fast & the Curious- Potty Drift
Size: 5T-6T, Unit Count: 60
Who knew toddler potty training required both a PhD in fluid dynamics and Jedi mind tricks? These Pull-Ups prove the science part: leak-proof, absorbent, and surprisingly soft. The toddler-psychology part? That’s a battle of wills. Our little one was a die-hard fan of Huggies diapers—too loyal, in fact. We begged, we bribed, we pleaded: “Please, let’s move on!” Resistance was fierce. So we went stealth mode, sneaking Pull-Ups on at night like parents on a covert mission. Credit to mom—she cracked the code and finally got the kid interested in the toilet. Suddenly, the “potty rush” moments became less of a flood and more of a sprint. Diapers were too slow to peel off; Pull-Ups gave our little sprinter the speed boost they needed. They’re soft, rash-free, and practically leak-proof (unlike that other brand we don’t speak of). Pro tip: size up for easier toddler self-removal. The result? A drier, happier kid, less laundry for us, and the toilet finally earning MVP status. If you’re ready for your toddler to graduate from Diaper University, this is the diploma. Bonus: you’ll save money too.

Mom of 3 recommend!
Size: 5T-6T, Unit Count: 14
I'm using these again for the 3rd time and they're great as always. My 3rd is still having some issues at night time with bed wetting, and as they get older the bigger the mess, so these truly hold up to a full bladder. And they don't smell by morning like some diaper brands. I'm usually against pull ups, but these are great for up and down ease of use and that added protection when it comes to potty training. I love the bigger size inclusion for larger children which we struggle with for comfort compared to other brands.
