Ideal Growing Conditions for the Dauben Water Lily:
- Soil: Use any topsoil, avoiding cocopeat mixes. Clayey soil provides the best foundation for healthy growth. Detailed planting & care guidelines are included with the plant. Please refer to the knowledge base & FAQ’s for more details.
- Water: Potable water such as tap water or borewell water works best, avoid hard water to keep your lily thriving.
- Sunlight: Provide at least 5 hours of direct, unfiltered sunlight daily. The Dauben Water Lily is a 100% outdoor plant that loves the sun.
- Pot/Container: Choose a container with a minimum diameter of 24 inches and a height of 15 to 18 inches. Fiber, plastic, or concrete pots are recommended, as they retain the heat that these plants appreciate. This particular hybrid can adapt to smaller pot sizes.
- Water Temperature: The 'Dauben Water Lily' prefers warm water, ideally between 20-30°C (68-86°F). During colder months in certain regions of India, you may need to take measures to maintain water temperature.
- Water Depth: Plant at a depth of 1-2 feet (30-60 cm) of water. This depends on the size of your water lily and the depth of your pond, ensuring the leaves can comfortably reach the surface for optimal sunlight absorption.
- Water Quality: Clean, still or slow-moving water is ideal. Regularly monitor and maintain water quality to prevent algae buildup which can hinder growth.
- Feeding: A slow-release aquatic fertilizer can be beneficial during the growing season (usually spring and summer) to support lush growth and blooms. Over-fertilization should be avoided.

Nice hose filter for filling hot tubs

I bought this for filling up my hot tub. It does the trick. Straight tap water was difficult to balance the ph and keep it stable. When I fill the hot tub using the filter, the water is more balanced and easier to maintain. I used it for two 390gal refills before I noticed it was getting slower, so ordered another one. I haven’t used it for drinking water so can’t comment on the taste. It does seem to help with hardness though.

Good for using for makeshift folding RV counter
Size: 10 Inch
We installed these shelf brackets in our RV to use as an extension of the counter, using the sink cover. Because we do not want to screw the sink cover to the brackets, we have used velcro to attach it to the brackets. This has worked very well.
